The Weird Girl?

It was your first day of school in Arcadia Oaks as you gripped your bag tightly, filled with nervousness, you saw students pilling up outside in the outside area, talking to their friends and walking with them

It was nearly first period when you looked at your Schedule which held your classes, you saw that you had Maths first with a teacher called Ms. Janeth

Great, Maths first thing on a monday

You started walking around the outside area as you were also trying to avoid people

"Yo, you hear that Kate slapped Darrel yesterday?"

You turned your head towards the voices to see about 2 girls and 3 boys talking together
"Kate?" You thought

"Man, she's so weird, I mean who would just slapped someone?" One of the girls said
"She's a totes weirdo" the other girl said in a snobby voice
"I know, that's one of the reasons why she's the 'Weirdo' here, remember? Along with her disgusting looks" one of the boys said

You heard enough as you continued walking since you did not like gossip much
"Man, this kate person must be depressed by these rumors" you thought as you entered the building

Still, you were kind of curious on who this 'kate' girl is, how does she deal with these rumors? Does she fight her problems? Why is she..Weird? If she even is
You walked down the hallway where there were more lockers and students there

But two people caught your eye, one was a Brown-haired boy with dark pink streaks in his hair and the other was a girl shorter than him, she had honey brown hair in a ponytail with light-pink streaks
But you couldn't see their faces, just behind them

"Hey, you seen kate?" The girl asked as she ran up to the boy, there goes Kate again

"Uh no, I haven't, last time I saw her was at home and she left early" the boy said as he shut his locker

The girl groaned loudly before running off, probably to find that kate girl
Seriously, this Kate girl is all over school, maybe she's all over the Universe

You shrugged before walking off again, okay maybe you were a teeny weeny desperate to see this Kate girl, she actually sounded quite interesting, whoever she is
Then the bell rang as everyone scurred go their classrooms

You huffed as you tried to find yours which was a pain in the a--

*10 minutes later*

You finally found your class as you opened the door and tried to silently go in without causing a scene
Good thing, most of the students were asleep as the Teacher, who was probably Ms. Janeth, was writing something on the whiteboard as she blabbered on

You tried to sneak at the side of the class but before you'd even reached the side...you tripped over someone's book and fell face-flat
"AH!"

Instantly people were awoken as everyone jumped and stared at you, surprised
Ms. Janeth looked over her desk to see you on the floor in front of the desk with your bag open and books spilled out
"Ow! Sorry...I'm late" you muttered as you picked yourself up

Ms. Janeth raised an eyebrow as it was silent for a few seconds, awkward silent
Yep, they're judging me
"Uh..oh! You're the new student!" Ms. Janeth said as she snapped back "uh, y/n l/n, right?" She asked as you nodded

You turned your head to the class to see, they had unamused faces
"Everyone, this is Y/n l/n from C/n (country name)" Ms. Janeth introduced you as you gave a greeting nod

"Now y/n, if you just sit over there now, please" Ms. Janeth pointed at a table at the back next to another one
"Kate, isn't here again" you heard Ms. Janeth muttered

"Again with Kate" you thought, kind of annoyed as you went and sat the table
All through the lesson, you were bored out of your mind
