Personality》
Percival is a bit of a...complicated person. To the others he meets at first, he seems like a rather smart, empathetic, and rather charismatic kind of guy. Since he is a bit of a people person. While he is naturally smart, though more book smart than people smart; which he still is good with, and he kinda does hold a bit of arrogance due to being a prince, there is way more to him than others think. To start off, Percy is actually rather insecure, constantly doubting himself thanks to the small ideas his sister put in his head, and due to the fact that he has always lived in her shadow. Even more so since she was going to be crowned the next Queen, when it was supposed to be him, as he was the only male heir. He's just good at hiding it. However, that doesn't take away from the fact that he is really hard working and when he is given something to do, he always goes out of his way to exceed those expectations set for him. Especially when he trains with the royal guards and shows that he can hold his own against them. He is also a rather curious soul, always asking questions to both guards and other royal advisors, which would make some of them groan with how persistent he was in getting answers. He just finds it hard to take no for an answer,no real rhyme or reason behind that. Some would think Percival is rather selfish, due to his family background, but it's in fact the opposite. He constantly tries to please others and not expect much in return, which others try and take advantage of by getting close to him with selfish goals in mind. He is also genuinely a nice person, and madly loyal if you get really close to him, if not a bit odd with his random mutterings, but something else lays deep within him that he doesn't want others to really know. He is in fact..an affection starved guy and since he is selfless more than selfish, he never asks for contact to remedy that, making it worse over time, but he's learned to live with it. After all, who would respect a next in line prince to ask for close contact, and only his friend, the royal head guard's son, knows this small secret of his. Another small secret is that Percy very much enjoys to draw with the charcoal based crayons and other drawing materials, and is actually rather good at it, especially with drawing scenery or people. You could say he has a good eye and hand for that kind of thing. All in all, that sums Percival up.
