P E R S O N A L I T Y Two defining personality traits of Mykel is that he is a VERY patient and loyal man. As in, he could wait for someone for more than 3 hours, and not complain. He is incredibly loyal once you earn his respect too, and will go through heaven and hell to fulfill the others wishes, if asked. More specifically, he's loyal to the king and his children. The royal court and other kingdoms...not so much. The thing is with Mykel, is that he doesn't come across as very friendly to others. When it comes to social situations, you'd rarely find him without a neutral expression. This causes strangers and other parties to believe him as a serious, kinda cold and level-headed individual. This is due to certain defenses he had set up after certain events. In reality, only one of those traits are correct. He can be level-headed and has a strong mind as well as body, but in reality, he is a pretty caring and outgoing guy. Going along with a few of the second prince's adventures, despite knowing that he should be the one keeping him in line. Which he does try to do, but his prince almost always evades him when he doesn't go along with his plans. A flaw of his though, is that he is very untrusting of other people, and can come across as a bit sassy sometimes, intentional or not and mostly without realizing it. Even infront of the royals sometimes, which he tries to apologize for immediately afterwards. Another thing is that...he doesn't believe in love at first sight, or arranged marriages. He can be rather passionate about love developing over time, and not just in the span of a few weeks. This he tries keeping to himself, but he doesn't try to hide it too much, and makes his distaste towards it clear with his eyes and expressions. All in all, there is more to Mykel than just being the second prince's personal Knight.

B R I E F B A C K S T O R Y Before Mykel came to work as the personal Knight to Eldura's youngest prince, he wasn't in the best situation. He was born as the bastard child, between a maid and the master if the house, who was part of a pretty high ranking family. Not as high as the royalty, but almost as well-off. The master of the house had a wife at the time of his birth, and she was not happy about this development. So, with a few suggestions to the master, who was just as unhappy as the wife, when Mykel was just 6, he was put to work in the house. He wasn't treated well, various...methods used throughout the years to break him, and make him understand his place between them. There was also a time where he got..severely traumatized by the wife at age 12, unable to make physical contact with others without flinching and going into a panic. His mother was long gone at this point too, sold to another high ranking family, and at this point he learned that his mom was a slave, and not a willimg worker. It wasn't until he was 16, and about to give up on everything, that the household was invited to the palace, and they foolishly took him along without thinking. The King, who saw his state and learning some of his background, further proved the reason of them calling the family to the palace, and sentenced them to prison on the accusation of illegal slave trading, and unjustified assault towards ones own familial member. The King then put Mykel into his employ, after asking him if he wanted to, which he agreed. For the next 6 years, he was taught how to be a knight and the personal guard of one of the princes. In this time, he was treated as the little brother of the knights, and despite not seeing much of the King and Queen, he was grateful for what he could now do, and swore a vow of loyalty in his heart, abd wgen the time came to be assigned to a prince. He was given to the second prince at the age of 22, and the prince was 15, where he learned patience was needed with him. That brings us to now, where he is happy at his job of 5 years, and truly cares about his prince...possibly a bit more than he should.
O T H E R - He is touch starved, but never says anything, fearing that it's not his place to say that, and others would judge.
- He holds the fortune of his past family, as he is the only child of 'that' man, even with being a bastard, therefore the only heir. He doesn't flaunt it though
- He fears his unknown feelings towards the same sex, more so a specific individual, and keeps it hidden as it is taboo in his head
