Max Pov:
Sharkboy was not always half shark, half boy. He was a marine biologist -or, at least, in training. His father studied great white sharks and called his son "Sharkboy" because of how much he loved to care for the sharks. He made them sushi and had given them all names: Goodmilk, Peggy, Eggbat... and Crackett. But one day an incredible, mysterious storm appeared. It swept away the entire laboratory. Thanks to their life rafts, Sharkboy and his father survived. But they survived on different sides of the wreckage, each floating off in a different direction. Sharkboy was completely alone. Almost completely. A girl (who was Sharkboy's age) with royal blue ocean for hair lift her head out of the water to look at Sharkboy. She looked lost as she didn't know where to go but the ocean. Sharkboy reach out to touch her to see if she was real. But his hand scared her, and she jumped back into the sea of ocean, and never coming back up to the surface to see Sharkboy again. Sharkboy felt hurt and sad that he scared her away from him. Now he was completely alone well almost completely. But one of the sharks recognized him. They took Sharkboy to their cave home, where he'd be safe and dry. His new family were sharks. Hundreds of sharks. The sharks raised him as one of their own, training him in the ways of the shark. To live by instinct and instinct alone. As Sharkboy was being trained by the sharks he would try and search for the girl with royal blue ocean hair that he had saw. But he had no luck on find her it was like she had disappear into the deep and far away into the ocean never to be seen. Eventually he grew gills, and sharp talons for claws. His teeth sharpened themselves to a point. He grew fins - all sorts of fins. But that was years ago. I first met Sharkboy while fishing on the dock this summer. He seemed lost. So I snuck him home... When my parents were too busy to notice. I kept him fed and in water. He had been traveling the universe in search of his father and of the girl with royal blue ocean for hair. He told me of his latest adventures on a planet so cool it makes you drool. He said I too could go to Planet Drool someday. Then one night I was visited by a glowing light and a cold breeze of wind that smelled like the ocean. Two amazing girls. The one on the right had purple flames for hair and skin of molten lava rock appeared. I called her...Lavagirl. The second one on her left had royal blue ocean for hair and dark ocean blue eyes with water and bubbles slowly surrounding her body. I turned to look at Sharkboy he seem to recognize the girl with the royal blue ocean for hair. I then realize that this maybe the girl that he has be search for a long time. So I decide to called her... Aquagirl. They both smiled at me, for that seemed to be their name. Aquagirl said hello to Sharkboy, clearly knowing who he is. Sharkboy gave her shocked but also a relief look because he was finally happy that he found her after all this time. They told me that they needed Sharkboy to return to Planet Drool with them, for a great crisis was developing. Lavagirl asked if I could go with them. I told her, "I have school tomorrow." She gave me a sad look and flamed away, taking Sharkboy and Aquagirl with her. I haven't seen Sharkboy, Aquagirl or Lavagirl since then. And that's what I did this summer." I finished put my book down, smiling nervously. Before having paper balls thrown at me from the whole class excepted from Marissa.

"Enough! Someone is picking that up. And it's not gonna be me!" Mr. Electricadad yelled.
"We were supposed to tell true stories." Linus said lazily.
"That is a true story." I said then as Marissa slowly put her hand up.
"Does Lavagirl have special powers?" She asked.
"There's no such thing as Lavagirl." Her dad/Mr. Electricadad told her as I flipped through the book to find the right page.
"She can...She can shoot lava out of her hands." I explained while using hand motions.
What about Aquagirl?" She continued while I flipped through the pages of the book until I found the right page.
"She can shoot water out of her hands, and control everything in the seas, ocean or anything underwater but sharks" I smiled, thinking about her because I have a slight crush on Aquagirl.
"Cool." Marissa mumbled.
"How many people think Max's story is true?" Mr. Electricadad questioned with only Marissa raising her hand.
"Not true."
"Made up."
"Not true."
"It's just a made-up story." Mr. Electricadad received many different answers but they all meant the same.
"If it's true, why don't you bring Sharkboy, Aquagirl, and Lavagirl to class tomorrow?" Linus asked.
"They went away! I don't know where they went!" I exclaimed.
"Have a seat, Max." Mr. Electricadad said standing up to walked over to me. No one ever believes me. I thought as I made my way to my desk.
