The Adventure of Sharkboy, Lavagirl, and Aquagirl

Chapter 5

Sharkboy Pov:
We stepped on the platform, I let go of Aquagirl's arm. I looked at Aquagirl, admiring her beauty, fine I will admit I have a crush on her since the day I meet her and the day she appear to me from the water when I was a little boy in a life rafts, but she probably doesn't like me back, I can tell Max likes her as well, he always blushes when she is around.

"Where is everyone?" Max asked looking around as we made our way in the amusement park.
"Mostly trapped on Mount Neverrest." Lavagirl said pointing to the mountain.
"By Mr. Electric." I finished.
"But Planet Drool's a place for kids to dream and have endless fun!" Max continued, as we went near the plugs while watching the kids.
"It's endless fun, all right. Once you get on... you can't get off." I scoffed while started then look at Max then back at Aquagirl again who was next to me, she had anger written all over her face, she loves kids as much as she love the sea and it sea creatures so this must be torture for her to watch. Aquagirl wishes that she can talk or control the sharks of the ocean but she can't because their mine.
"Kids aren't allowed to rest, 'cause if they rest, they sleep, and if they sleep, they dream. And if they dream..." Lavagirl says but when I cut her off.
"It takes power away from Mr. Electric." I says annoyed by it so I quickly end the conversation.
"But we're gonna stop him with our secret weapon." Aquagirl said still smirking.
"Shouldn't we save those kids first?" Max questioned.

Aquagirl Pov:
Sharky grabbed my hand while dragging me over towards the coaster. We all ran up to the coaster. Sharky, Lavagirl, and I all blasted and jumped up. I saw Max try but fail and just gave up an took the latter. As we got there we flew up the tracks of the coaster till we got to the kids that were stuck. Lavagirl and I then landed in front of the cart. "Lavagirl! Aquagirl! Hooray!" The kids yell as me and Lavagirl then jumped off in front of the cart, with Lavagirl blasted the rails with lava and me blasted the rails with water to harden the lava around it while Sharkboy used his strength but struggled pulling it from behind. Sharky dorsal fin screeched against the hard metal.

"OW. what the heck" I shouted grabbing my hand holding it tight to my chest.

The lava from Lavagirl burned my hand, bad. As I let go to hold my hand tight to my chest, I almost fell but I quickly grabbed onto the coaster and pulled myself back up with my good hand. I used some of my water powers to wet my hand to cool it down, but it still hurts more like burns. Eventually the coaster stopped. I kneeled down on the back of the coaster next to Sharkboy with my arms crossed over my chest not showing my terrible burned hand. Sharkboy turned to look at me.

"Give me your hand" Sharkboy said demanding to see my hand that was burned.
"No... I'm fine.. Sharky.. it was just a little burn" I said scoffed, turning away from him not wanted him to hold it right now.

Sharkboy grabbed me by my arm turning me so that he was looking into my eyes and me back at his. Sharky slowly grabbed my burned hand to look at it then frowned.

"Aqua" Sharkboy whispered while frowning still.
"It's no big deal, Sharky. I can use my water to stop the burn for now" I said while making more water appear on my hand, but Sharkboy disagreed he tore off a piece of a cloth from one of the kids shirts and wrapped it around my hand, I was confused as to why he is acting like this so I looked at him curiously, but then I was snapped out of my gaze by listening to Lavagirl asked the kids a question.
"Who knows where Mr. Electric is hiding?" Lavagirl questioned the kids. All the kids' hands were up.
"Everyone?" I said confused when all the kids hands were up.
"They're not raising their hands. You're all upside down." Max says suddenly popping beside Lavagirl on the ladder.
"Ah." Lavagirl said.
"Who is stopping my unstoppable coasters?" Mr. Electric says through the speakers while Lavagirl shot lava at the coaster seats to free the kids.
"Back in your seats!" Mr. Electric yelled.
"Go! Run! Hide!" Me and Lavagirl yelled as I growled at a few of them that didn't move at all which stopped when Sharky took my burned/wrapped hand into his, I looked up at him and gave him a small smile which he returned.
"Let's get outta here!" Some kid yelled when I glared at them.
"Everyone back in your seats!" Mr. Electric says still yelling through the speakers to the kids that we helped escape.
