Oh and btw, this takes place in your 5th year at hogwarts and you're a Gryffindor. You're also best friends with Lily and the marauders, James, Peter, Remus and Sirius. You're also an animagus, your animagus is a ragdoll cat (just go with it) and so your nickname is rags or ragdoll but James calls you doll. And you call him Headlights. Y/n POV~

I was awoken violently by my roommate, Lily Evans, shaking my shoulders. I groaned at her and rolled over in bed, pushing her arms away.

"What time is it?" I asked, opening my tired eyes.

"Seven thirteen in the morning, now get your ass up." Lily stated exasperatedly.

I almost immediately jolted up; breakfast ends in seventeen minutes.

"Why didn't you wake me up earlier!? There's only seventeen - no, sixteen - minutes left of breakfast!" I shouted, looking at the clock change time while I struggled to untangle myself from my doona.

"Well, sorry, but I tried to and you tried to kick me!" Lily defended herself, giving me a pressed look.

"Hey, I can't defend what I do in my sleep," I countered, digging through my small closet for a shirt and skirt.

"Whatever, just get a move on, I want to eat before class starts," Lily scolded.

After getting dressed and doing my hair, I rushed out of the dormitory with Lily by my side. I looked around the common room, and saw the Marauders, as they called themselves, James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew. James looked up at Lily and I then sighs, standing up.

"Guys, we can finally go. Lily and Y/N are here." James groaned to the other boys, who were now standing too. Sirius was slung onto Remus's side, seemingly too tired to stand alone.

"Sorry, someone didn't wake me up!" I nudged Lily, jumping down the stairs three at a time. She glowered at me, following quickly behind me in the stairs.

"Well, you tried to kick me the first time!" she defended again.

"I said I was sorry!" I rolled my eyes.

"You didn't, actually, you said you couldn't defend what you do in your sleep," Lily muttered.

I heard Remus snort, seemingly alerting the boy hanging off him that we were all here.

"Breakfast ends in ten minutes, I'm hungry! Let's hurry up, and go!" Sirius whined. I grinned at his childishness, letting out a breathy laugh.

Lily, James, Peter, Remus, Sirius and I all walked down the hallways together, making our way to the Great Hall. Once inside, we all drooled at the beautiful food set out across the tables. I sat down next to Lily and Remus, with James, Peter and Sirius across from us.

We all ate our food pretty quickly, discussing what classes we had and what we thought of the professors who taught those classes. The sound of light chattering filled my ears, not paying attention to our own conversation.

"Y/N? Y/N!!!" a voice snapped me out of my daydreams. I turned to the person calling my name, but they were already right in front of me. James.

"Yes? What is it?" I asked, as if I wasn't distracted before.
