Chapter 4 Truth

The other ponies looked at me like I was insane. Did they not see Truth standing there.

" Don't you see him?!?" I yelled pointing at him.

They looked at where I was pointing then back at me.

" Sugar cube there's nothin there." Apple Jack said.

I ran over to where he was standiby and tried to touch him with my hoof but it just went through.

" You're the only one that can see me. These things called homonculus asked me to do this. I don't know why but they really wanted me too. They were practically begging so I agreed after they sacraficed a few people in return. Have fun." He said and vanished.

" Am I going insane?" I whispered to myself.

Pinkie went over to the others " We brought cupcakes!" She said and handed everyone a cupcake.

I sat down. They did this. We have to get back before bad things happen.

" Please help us get back home!" I pleaded.

They looked over at me. I stood there looking like a nervous wreak. They could of killed people while I was gone.

" Of course." Said Twilight. " We will head for Canterlot at dawn."

I spent the rest of the day trying to find Alchemy books in Twilights library but couldn't find anything. I instead grabbed a science book and sat down and read.

" Hey wake up it's time to go." someone said while shaking me slightly.

"Okay." I said and got up noticing my head had been on the book I had been reading.

I looked around and noticed everyone else was awake and ready. I half asleep followed them to the train station. When we reached the station I was more awake and looked around. The train was very colorful like everything else in this world. We got on the train and I got a window seat. I looked out the window watching everything go by and then fell asleep.
Twilight's P.O.V.

I looked at Edward. He had already fallen asleep. I don't see how he can sleep so much. He slept from 5 in the afternoon yesterday to 6 in the morning today. That's 13 hours of sleep and now he was sleeping more. While he had been asleep so much had happened. We had told Alphonse about the princess' while Spike wrote a letter to Celestia and we had had dinner and gotten to know each other better. I looked out my window. I had already seen the views several times so it didn't excite me much. Alphonse walked over and sat next to me. I looked over at him " Hey you never explained why you have all those darker lines on you." I said.

" Oh it's a long story." He said.

" We have the time."

" Okay so when me and my brother were little boys our father left us. Then later our mother died we found a teacher to teach us more alchemy we tried to bring her back to life and it failed it took my brother's left leg and my whole body he sacarficed his right arm so he could bind my soul to armour so I believe that the lines show where there were the armour wasn't connected kind of like a picture." He explained.

" Do you know where your father went?" I asked. They had had one tough life.

" No." He said.

" Oh." I said then it went silent. We sat there for a minute then we heard Edward moving.
Ed's P.O.V.

I woke up and heard my stomach grumble. I hadn't ate anything before we left. I got up and walked over to Twilight and Al.

" Do you know where I can get food?" I asked.

" Ya. The dining cart is the cart infront." Twilight said.

" Thanks." I said and walked over to the cart. When I walked in there were several waiter ponies sitting around. I sat at one of the tables and one walked over to me. She was a gray pony with yellow hair ( mane and tail.)

She handed me a menu and walked away.

I looked at it and it looked like I was looking at a vegetarian's menu. Nothing on it had meat.

The pony returned " What would you like to eat today?"

" I'll have the hay fries two daffodil sandwiches and chocolate ice cream." I said.

She wrote it down and walked away

I looked around. Even inside the train it was very colorful.

The pony came back and she seemed to be having problems. She got over to me and dropped the fries on me.

" Sorry. I just don't know what went wrong." She said.

" I looked at her angrily then saw her eyes were all wierd. She probably had problems.

" It's okay. Just get me more fries." I grumbled. Oh well it wasn't as bad as being called short.

She placed the rest of my food in front of me and walked back to the kitchen.

I started to eat the sandwhiches. They actually tasted good. I gobbled them down and by the time the pony came back. Like two minutes after the incident I was already done with the rest of my food. She placed the fries in front of me and I gobbled them down too. I was back in my seat in about six minutes.

" What did you get?" Al asked.

" Let's see I had two daffodil sandwiches some chocolate ice cream and hay fries." I replied.

Twilight was staring at me with wide eyes.

" How did you eat all that so quickly?" She asked suprised.

I shrugged " I just eat fast."

" Were they good?" Al asked.

I nodded then looked at Twilight. " I would've been out sooner but the pony serving me dropped my fries on me the first time."

Her eyes widened even more and I laughed. I looked out the window.

" It's really pretty around here." I said.

" Ya. We've seen this view several times." Twilight said.

" Why are we going here any way?" I asked. This place Canterlot just seemed to be one big castle why go there.

" Because the princess lives there and she can help you guys." Twilight explained.

" Why does she live up there without anyone living around her?"

" Theres a whole city up!" Twilight said.

" Oooohhhhh."

Everything went quiet after that. I looked out the window.
