Chapter 3 Cupcakes

I looked over at the door. One of the ponies was white another orange and the final pink. The pink one was jumping up and down.

" Hey girls." Purple said and ran over to them.

" Hey Twilight." They all said.

" I'd like you to meet Edward and Alphonse." Twilight said.

They all looked at me the pink one.screamed and ran over " Hello I am Pinkie Pie."

I held in my laughter. Her name.

The white one walked over and started looking at my clothes.

" How can you stand wearing these?" She asked.

" Hey! I like these clothes!" I yelled.

The orange one walked over and introduced herself " Hello I'm Apple Jack." She has a funny accent but the normalest name out of all of them.

" I'm Rarity." Said the white one still freaking out over my clothes.

" Hey what's that as your cutie mark?" Pinkie pie asked.

" What the hell is a cutie mark?" I asked. I was a little annoyed by Rarity.

" It's the thing on your hindquarters silly. It tells what your talent is." Pinkie pie replied.

The others were looking at me because of my langugue.

" That is the flamel." I said.

" What is the flamel?" She asked.

" It's an Alchemic sign." I said.

" Alchemic?" They looked at me funny all except Twilight who looked lost in thought.

" Alchemy is a science. Controlled by the law of equivalent exchange. Meaning to get something you must give something equal in exchange." I explained. They all still looked confused.

I sighed and sat down then clapped my front hooves together and hit them against the ground and made a spear.

" Woah you can do magic and you're not a unicorn." Said Pinkie pie.

" It's not freaking magic! It's Alchemy you idiot!" I yelled.

Twilight looked at me then yelled "No calling ponies idiots here! And I remember what it is now." She walked to one of her many bookshelves and used magic to get a book down and put it in front of the other ponies.

They looked at it and I stared at it. I wanted to read it so bad. Twilight dropped it and as soon as it hit the floor I dove for it and grabbed it. I opened the cover after many tries and began reading.
One hour later.
Al's P.O.V.
" is he still reading?" Pinkie pie asked.

" Ya. Once he starts an alchemy book he can't put it down until he has finished it." I explained.

" He kind of reminds me of some other ponies." Pinkie pie said looking at Rainbow Dash then Twilight.

" Hey the books I read are filled with action and adventure not facts." Rainbow Dash said a little angry.

Pinkie Pie laughed.

" Do you like cupcakes?" Pinkie Pie asked.

" Cupcakes. It feels like forever since I last had cupcakes." I said. The last time we had cupcakes was for Mom's birthday before she died. She prefered to have cupcakes.

Pinkie pie gasped. " You need to have cupcakes." She said and dragged me outside and down the road.
Ed's P.O.V.

I finished the last sentence and was disapointed. It was an alchemy book for noobs. I sighed and walked over to the table the others were sitting at and placed the book on it.

" It didn't tell me anything new." I said disappointed. I looked up and noticed Al was gone and so was the pink one.

" Where did Al go?" I asked.

" He went with Pinkie to go get cupcakes." Twilight said.

My ears perked up. Cupcakes! I ran to the door and outside running down the street tripping several times since I now had four legs. I eventually realized I didn't know where I was going. I walked down the street looking around. Ponies were staring at me. I didn't mind it as much now. I eventually found a place called sugar cube corner and walked in and saw Al and Pinkie pie. I ran over.

" I heard there would be cupcakes." I said as I ran over. Pinkie pie handed me one.

I started eating it. It tasted just like mom's. Mom's. The last time we had cupcakes was for mom's birthday. Tears started to fill my eyes. I pushed them back. I wasn't going to cry. I looked up and noticed Al and Pinkie were looking at me.

" Whoa you okay?" Pinkie asked.

I nodded " Ya I'm fine."

I looked at Al and saw a tear sliding down his cheek. I knew he remembered. We finished our cupcakes in silence. Then headed back to Twilight's house with some cupcakes for the others.

" So how do you party where you come from?" Pinkie asked.

" We don't really party." I said. " We eat and talk and that's really it."

" You need to learn how to party!" Pinkie said with a smile.

Me and Al looked at eachother. We had a bad feeling about it.

We opened the door and I looked in and I saw a familiar white figure.

" Truth!?!"
