Damian
A few months later...
A lot has changed...we've all grown for better and for worse, but we all kept moving on with life.
Rebecca and Killian decided to stay at Dante's home and help raise Luca. Rebecca pulled away from the gang world and Killian dropped everything and decided to focus on his hotels and clubs in the states.
Vincent helped transition the gang over to Reese and he's been proposing treaties with Ruslan who took lead of The Black Dragons until he appoints a leader.
Morgan and I are finishing up the semester and Sam and I took his advice and joined the football team.
Hopefully they won't suck now that we joined.
In these last few months, the world seemed as though it had gone silent.
No attacks or family betrayal, just silence.
Reese and Killian are more paranoid than ever about how quiet it has been and so am I, but we won't let the past control our future.
And today is supposed to be a happy day and I was tasked with looking the part.
I slipped a pair of black slacks over my legs and buckled the matching belt. I put on a black button up and flipped the collar to place a tie underneath.
I slipped my black shoes on one at a time and tied the laced before placing a blue suit jacket over my arms.
"Looking sharp Sloppy," Rebecca commented from the doorway.
I turned to face her and she was already in her wedding dress.
It was white, in a trumpet shape that flared slightly at her hips. The entire piece was laced over the silky fabric and was sleeveless, stopping in a sweetheart neckline. The entire piece was backless but it did not shy away from a long train.
"Gotta look fine, today is my day after all," I joke and walk over to kiss her cheek.
She was shaking slightly and I took her hands in mine.
"Don't tell me you're getting cold feet," I said skeptically and raised an eyebrow.
She rolled her eyes and gave me a short smile.
"No, just nervous is all," she said slowly, taking a deep breath out as she did.
"This is the wrong room Rebecca," Reese announces as he walks into my dressing room holding Luca's hand.
"I know Reese. I just knew that Damian was going to need help getting ready for his big day as a groomsman," she joked as Reese laughed.
Reese and I wore the same tux as well as Morgan and the other groomsmen while all the bridesmaids were dressed in a light purple color.
"You're right. That tie isn't going to tie itself," Reese chuckled as Rebecca started to tie it for me.
"Does Luca have the rings?" Rebecca asked as she tilted my head upward and continued to knot the fabric until it took shape.
"I do! I got them!" Luca shouted excitedly as he held up a small box in his hands.
"Hold onto those until the officiant asks for them okay?" Reese says as Luca nods.
"I will guard them with my life," he adds as he sticks the box in his tiny pocket.
When Rebecca finished my tie, she folded my collar down and I button my suit jacket once.
"Now, let's get my ass down that aisle before Killian can change his mind," she breathed out.
"Ass," Luca repeats loudly.
