Chapter 10

I woke up in a hospital. It was dark. There was a person in a chair pulled up to the bed. They were asleep. It took me a minute until I realized it was Ashton. He had Clover in his lap. I lifted my arm to my head when I noticed it was lighter than before. I Examined my wrist closely. The cast was gone. There was white bandages on my wrist and every terrible memory from last night came flooding back to me. Was what she said true? Did Emma really mean that? I don't know. "hey it's about time you woke up." Ashton joked with a yawn. I smiled touching a piece if my red hair behind my ear. "Excuse me but you'll be leaving soon, and I need to make sure you wrist has stopped bleeding." a nurse said while knocking. she removed the bandages and examined my wrists. "Ok well your wrist is still bleeding quite a bit, so from the looks of it you'll be staying for a few more hours. the nurse said patting my shoulder. "Thanks for your help." Ashton said smiling. "Oh anything for a cute boy like yourself." she said winking. I tensed up. She left the room with the sound of her voice ringing in my ears. "hey Rei I'm gonna go check on the boys and hope they haven't burned my house down." he joked standing up and putting Clover Back in the chair. "Please be careful. ill be back in an hour, so get some rest. I have to walk home so it'll take a while." he said. "Ok." I said quietly. he placed a soft warm kiss in my fore head and left the room with a smile. I was kind of happy to be alone so I can think. I just hope James doesn't know I'm here. That would be terrible.
