She looked right in to his familiar light green eyes, they lightened whit amusement now…not like before. Her breath seemed to be hitched and her eyes glossed over whit pure fear. Her whole body started to tremble as flashbacks hit her like it just happened. Memories consuming her mind…

His hand was around her waist, holding her against his body…One covering her mouth. He had a clot between his hand and her mouth though…whit something on, making Jane’s body feel funny and weird. Her eyes seemed to just get more and more heavy whit every single breath she took. She looked him straight in the eyes. His light blue unfamiliar, yet familiar eyes. They seemed almost black now ….in the dark alley everything was. Even her blond hair wasn’t showing. Her fragile body was shaking all over and tears were staining her face. She started to see dots, her eyesight getting worse and worse, until it was just one big blur. That’s when her body shut down and she fell in to an unwanted rest…

Ace watched as tears started to form in her beautiful blue eyes and her body started to shake in his arms. Out of fear…that was what her eyes were telling him. Pure fear…of him?!And he hated every second of it…He did not feel good when she looked at him like that. Like he was a ghost or the devil himself. Making him wonder about her past…

Jane was petrified while she stood there. She didn’t know for how long she stood like that; just staring at him, but it seemed like hours. When she snapped out of it and again saw those light green eyes again she took a breath and slapped him across the face

“What the hell was that for?” she growled while wiping away the tears from her cheeks. She never let anyone see her cry. The last one who did was dead now…and she had planted the bullet straight between his eyes. She looked around while catching her breath and then looked back at him. “You do that one more time…and I’ll plant a bullet in your head myself” she snapped.

Ace took a step back and held his arms up. He just wanted to take back for all the teasing she had been doing…Not scare her shit less. “I’m sorry ok?! Didn’t mean it like that” he muttered while eyeing the trembling woman in front of himself. He could see that it was more to this than just this thing a few moments ago. What had happened to her? And why was she so scared?

She nodded and brushed some hair away from her face “Ok…” she cleared her throat and sighed “Lets get this body covered” she mumbled pointing at the dead body. She looked at him. Guys like that…and other males…pigs…cowards…were the reason she was in this job at the first place.

He nodded and single handed dragged the male under a few bushed and looked up at Jane…where Jane should be standing. He frowned and looked around. Seeing the blond hair a little away and hearing sounds, reminding him of when his mother was pregnant and had that morning sickness. He winched and then walked over silently and placed a hand on her back, pushing her hair away from her face whit the other.

She woke up sitting in a wooden chair. Her eyes was not fully focused and she saw double. Her body was covered in sweat and some of her hair was sticking to her forehead. She tried to brush it away; just to find out that her hands were tied down to the hand rests. She groaned and slowly looked down at them. Her head tilted to the side one more time and she was consumed by the now wanted darkness again.

She felt his cold hand on her forehead and her back. She tried to let her body calm down, but nothing worked. Not the calm breaths she had learned in yoga classes, not the shutdown body technique she had learned at camp…nothing worked. She puked again, her body shaking more than ever before.

She blinked and saw straight in to the bright blue eyes again. She blinked and sat up straight and just stared at him. “My, my…sleeping beauty is awake” he grinned whit his toothless smile. ”What do you want from me?” she asked sobbingly; trying to get her face as far away from him as she could.
