Her head shoot up from the pillow and her sleep filled eyes were scanning the room, already starting to readjust the dark surrounding her. She looked at the red blinking numbers from the night table; a groan came out as she turned off the annoying alarm, almost knocking it down from the little white table. She turned around and watched the cream colored ceiling, tugging the string for the light to turn on.
It was mornings like this she was wondering why the hell she’d picked her job. Four in the morning was way to early for her own liking. Just…to freaking early.
She sat up in the bed and threw the blanket away from her body whit a tired breath escaped her. Last night after picking up Ace, they’d driven to a nearby bar drinking themselves pretty wasted…
She groaned and stood up. Why did she do that? She’d never been drinking whit a rookie…no one ever did. It was…it wasn’t a law, but it was safer…not getting too closed to anyone at work…you never knew when you’d lose them. She looked at the calendar and clenched her jaw, crossing over the day whit a big red X. She didn’t want this day to be special for him. He would not ruin her life anymore…
She walked in to the bathroom and turned the shower on, trying to forget the things that had happened to her. Jane took of her PJ’s and pulled her hair up on a tight pony tail, knowing that if someone saw her neck, they would see two small hearts. They would think that she had a teen romance and did a tattoo for it, thinking it would last forever.
She snorted and shook her head. That little bastard had marked her for life…In one way she was happy…that she was marked on how horrible a life could be, but that it was possible to come back just as strong. But the other half…hated it. So much, that every time she thought about it, she just wanted to kill someone. That he had dared to mark her like she was some kind of cow who needed a mark for its owner to recognize her.
She was having a bit of a rush this morning, so she didn’t bother whit washing her hair. She brushed her mouth while waiting for the water to become hot and warm, just like she liked it. She took a quick shower and then stepped out, drying off quickly.
She took on a pair of skinny black jeans and a pair of high heels. She tugged on a tight white top whit a blood red rose on it. She let her hair down, her curls tumbling down her back and shoulders.
She hurried out of the bathroom, out the bedroom door and down the stairs; almost stumbling the last few steps. Jane had never been late for work, and would not start that now. She took a random key and her bag and walked out in the garage while pushing a few strands of hair from her face. She opened a car whit the key and saw the lights on a black, sleek BMW blink as if to say that this was the car she was going to drive today.
She laughed and sat in; starting the car, taking on the seat safety belt watching as the garage door opened. When it was just opened enough she pushed to pedal to the floor and the car shot out from the garage; down the drive way and toward the agency.
She walked down the stairs rather quick after changing in the girl room. She now wore a pair of sports pants and a tight tank top that had a low cut in both the front and back. Her blond curls were pulled up in a loose pony tail; a few strands of blond hair were framing her face making it look more angelic and innocent. A silver crescent necklace were hanging down at her neck, gotten from one of the men she had killed a good year ago.
She pushed the door open whit her bum, putting in an earplug so she could hear if something happened while she was training outside. She walked up to Niklaus and smiled at him, looking at the rookies who were training in the climbing wall.
“Any good this year?” she asked amused, seeing how bad some of them were haging a few feet’s over the ground, trying to make their way up. She saw a long haired petite figure up on the top of the wall and her head tilted slightly to the side. Finally is wasn’t just guys who showed skills in this game. She also saw the back of Ace, fast averting her gaze back to the girl.
