Ok the Coach doesn't have a name. We will just refer to him as "Coach".

Also sorry this is so short- wasn't really focused on the book today :/

"Yuta hyung..."

"Mm?"

"Do you think I'll stay on the team?"

The Japanese male turns from the steering wheel, raising a brow. "What do you mean?"

"I don't know...I mean what if they realize I'm not up to their standards..."

Yuta stops the car at the red light, chuckling softly. "Mark you're a prodigy-"

"Yeah, in Canada. Not Korea. The standards and expectations are different."

"Well yes, but why would they ask you here if you didn't fit their standards? They chose you for a reason you know."

"Right..."

"If you don't stop sulking I'll kiss you."

"HYUNG!" But Yuta only laughs and continues driving, continuing to bicker with his young friend.

Donghyuk sighs, stretching as he enters the main building of Yongpyong. He had stayed up last night talking to Jaemin and Jisung, who were complaining about how much they missed him already.

"Tired Donghyuk?"

The boy jumps, glaring at whoever scared him. "Taeyong hyung!"

"Ah did I scare you again? Sorry, my bad kid. Come on now, it's time for you to meet your mentor." He drags Donghyuk by his collar, going on and on about this guy named Doyoung. "Trust me Hyuk, you're gonna love him."

They stop in front of an office, which Donghyuk could recognize as the Coach's office from the day previous. "Now you head on in there. The others are already inside I believe. Have fun!" And as quickly as Taeyong appeared, he was gone. Donghyuk rolls his eyes and opens the door, revealing the Coach, the Mark guy, and two other men he didn't know.

"Donghyuk, you're just in time. Come in and meet your mentor." The Coach smiles. "I want you to meet Kim Doyoung, he's been on this team for around 4 years now. You have recognize him from past competitions." Coach gestures to the bunny-like male, who had a large and warm smile, his whole body just screamed 'MOM'...and Donghyuk was not sure how to feel about it.

He bows gently. "...Hi..."

"Coach," Mark slowly faces the man, a deadpanned look on his face. "How late do you permit private practices?"

"Oh...Well..." Coach sits back down into his chair, flipping through some papers. "I'm surprised you asked instead of Donghyuk." He chuckles.

"Why?"

Donghyuk covers his face. "It was like, once a week. Please~"

The comment only makes Coach laugh harder, his eyes now from the folder to the boys. "From what his old coach has told me, Donghyuk would spend nights out snowboarding at midnight. Rarely got caught but was always a big issue when he did. Right?" And the mentioned boy only nods, a groan escaping his lips.

"Let's just move on." He glares at the man sitting behind his desk, who coughs into his fist awkwardly.

"Right well. The official curfew time is around 10, but as long as you're quiet and responsible about it, I usually let the guys practice as late as they need. It's why they all have a key to the equipment shed and crash room, so they can lock up if they ever stay late." Mark and Donghyuk nod taking the information in. "Now enough talk, you two will get time later to formally meet your mentors and the rest of the team. But for now, let's head to the hill. I'm sure Taeyong is annoying everyone else as we speak. Oh and Donghyuk, you need to leave at noon correct?"

The boy nods. "Yeah. I start my half-days today."

Mark turns to him sharply. 'He's still a high-schooler? He looks too old to be a senior though...maybe a stay-back? No..He looks too smart for that...'

"–Mark?"

The voice cuts him out of his trance. "H-huh?" Donghyuk snickers at his stutter, but the Canadian chooses to ignore it.

"Do you have classes as well?"

"No, I'm taking online night classes from my college in Canada. I can be here for the full practices."

"Ok, but I can't have you overworking yourself. Johnny, make sure he gets enough rest and such, ok?"

"Yessir."

"Alright, now all of you out and go to the hill. Drills begin in five minutes."
