"Aunty! Hey." Mark waves to his phone camera, smiling when he sees his aunty's face.

"Mark! Oh my goodness, I miss you so much." She whines, peppering her phone screen with kisses, making the young man laugh.

"Aww, I miss you too aunty." Mark smiles, chuckling as his aunt continues to use a baby voice on him. "Where's mom?"

"She's just in the kitchen, making us some late night dinner. Do you want to see her?" Mark nods happily, making his aunt chuckle. "Alright, I'll hand her over to you. Maree!" She walks to where Mark assumed his mother was. The camera jumbles around, finally calming and Mrs. Lee's face appeared in the frame.

"Mom, how are you?"

"I'm doing good. I miss my little baby though." She pouts, making Mark laugh softly. "How are things in Korea dear? Are the people nice? Do you know what they're saying?"

"I'm good. The practice is tiring but I like it. Everyone is really nice here, and I can understand what they're saying most of the time. College isn't too hard, and I'm keeping up with my work and classes. I'm a bit tired overall, but it's nice here. I wish you two could visit."

Mrs. Lee smiles at her son, eyes glistening as she watches him talk about his new home. "Have you made any close friends yet? Anyone click with you?"

Mark sighs at the worried look on his mom's face. "No..."

"Mark..."

"I know mom, I'm trying. It's just- it's hard. It was already hard to fit in back in Canada but now that I'm in a new country with no one but myself...it's difficult."

Maree sighs, nodding at her son's words. "I know it's hard baby, but it'll get better. One day you'll find someone. I promise, ok?"

"Ok...but I've been here for almost a month and I still haven't met anyone that I can call a close friend. My teammates are acquaintances at best."

"You'll be okay baby, trust me."

"I do."

"So are y'all dating yet or what?" Donghyuk asks, throwing a chip in his mouth.

Jaemin chokes on his drink at the sudden question, his face burning red. "I'm sorry– what?"

"I asked if you and Smiles over there-" he gestures to the barista. "-are dating yet?"

"First off, his name is Jeno. And no, we are not dating."

"Damn, y'all taking it slow~" he draws out the last syllable in a disappointed manner, tutting at the end and shaking his head. "Coffee boy needs to step up his game."

"Just call him by his name oh my god."

Donghyuk shrugs. "Yeah, but I like Coffee boy and Smiles better."

"You're obnoxious." Jaemin shakes his head, laughing in disbelief.

Donghyuk smiles cheekily. "I know. Anyways," he puts his coffee down, curiously looking at the boy across from him. "How's your sister doing?"

Jaemin sighs. "She's doing alright. Already in her third trimester."

"Do you know the gender yet?"

"Yeah, it's gonna be a boy."

"Awww that's so cute." Donghyuk coos at the idea of a little baby running around the Na household. "What about, you know..him. Is he gonna have some custody or...?"

Jaemin's jaw clenches. "No. And even if he did, I wouldn't let my nephew see him. That bastard."

Donghyuk sighs, placing his hand over Jaemin's fist. "Calm down there bud, what's done is done. Now you can just be there for your sister."

Taking a deep breath, the younger teen nods. "You're right. Thanks."

"Happy to help, but I should go now."

"What- why?"

Donghyuk smirks, standing. "Because Coffee boy over there is eye-fucking you and I don't want to get in the middle of your little session." He walks off, laughing at himself as Jaemin is left sputtering in embarrassment.
