"You're obnoxious."
"We been knew sis."
"I swear..." Doyoung shakes his head, hands on his hips. "You're so disrespectful." He mutters as he watches Donghyuk clip onto his board. The boy only smiles at him before turning towards the halfpipe where the rest of the team is practicing. "He's such a brat."
"I don't think so." The voice of Taeyong makes Doyoung jump, almost screeching in surprise.
"Jesus Christ hyung, don't scare me like that."
"Ah, sorry." Taeyong scratches the back of his neck in guilt. "But," he moves to stand next to Doyoung and watch the youngest member of the team. "I don't think he's all that bad."
"Yeah." Doyoung rolls his eyes. " 'Cause you don't deal with him every day."
"Well, no...but I don't think he's like that to be mean or disrespectful," Taeyong says, voice soft as he watches Donghyuk jump happily with Ten. "I mean...Ah nevermind. I should go in anyway, have some files to sort through." He waves at Doyoung before walking away.
The black-haired male sighs to himself, looking back out to where Donghyuk was going back and forth between the halfpipe. "He's a free spirit, I'll say that."

"Here." Mark's voice breaks the silence as he and Donghyuk sit in the crash room, unclipping their boots from their boards. "You forgot a water bottle again."
Donghyuk sighs and slaps his forehead, this was the third time this week that he's forgotten his bottle. "Thanks." The two boys have gotten used to being alone together at midnight, practicing at the hill in hopes of getting better. They had yet to go to a meet or at least play in one. So they just kept practicing in hopes of being good enough. It rendered both boys terribly tired, for Mark would go home at 1 am and then have work to do. And Donghyuk would go home at around 3, finish his homework and wake up only 4 hours later to get to practice. It wasn't the healthiest thing in the world, but neither cared that much. It was snowboarding, and to stay on the team, they had to sacrifice everything. Didn't mean they were limitless though.
It was when Donghyuk collapsed from exhaustion a month in, that Mark began to keep a closer eye on him. He always brought extras of energy bars and water, just in case Donghyuk overworked himself again. They never said more than a few words to each other, for Mark was too awkward to start a conversation, and Donghyuk still had a rivalry with the Canadian that his stubborn ass refused to try and be friends.
"Lock up before you leave," Mark says, standing. Donghyuk nods in acknowledgment and waits for Mark to leave before letting out a tired groan as he sits on one of the couches.
He runs his hands over his face tiredly, sighing as he stays in the same position. "Fuck my life..." His energy was waning and he needed to get home, but he honestly didn't know if he could. He was just so damn tired. "Jaemin is still up...right?" Jaemin, being the one out of them that could drive, and was a huge insomniac [it's that damn coffee istg Na Jaemin], was the tanned male's best chance of getting home. He was too tired to take the bus anyways.
The phone rings for a while before it's finally answered. "Hey, Jaem-"
"Oh shit~ ah..Jen- fuck!" Donghyuk pulls the phone away from his ear, sighing.
"Why pick up the damn phone if you're doing this." He scrunches his face in disgust that he can still hear his best friend's moans through the phone. That along with the groans of Coffee Boy. "Not dating my ass." Donghyuk mocks before hanging up and deciding to just walk home instead.

"I'm so sorry Hyuk!" Jaemin says, entering the cafè hurriedly. "I'm so sorry you had to....hear that." He frowns and gives his friend a hug before sitting down.
Donghyuk sips his coffee, his eyes narrowing over the rim of his cup. "I swear if you say that you aren't–"
"We aren't dating though."
"Oh for fucks sake!"
