Chapter 13

-Lucy's POV-

I screamed and quickly sat up as I had woken up from a nightmare... Or at least I thought I woke up. I... Was with Lunar again. I thought that for a split second... I saw her. Her body. Her physical Form... But I think... I think I didn't actually. "Lunar... I had a... A horrible dream... It was... It was the end of the world. Everyone... Everyone fought for themselves and the ones I considered friends they... Betrayed me..." I started to tear up as I told her about my Nightmare. Or at least... A part of my nightmare. "Lucy... I need to tell you that... You've overslept an entire day. You will need to wake up... I will talk to you more once you are on your mission... Today... You will meet a King." Lunar said before I finally woke up. Orange had been shaking me and started explain to me to tell me to come with the others to the yellow Steve's. So that's what we did... We went to the yellow Steve's. And they had camp set up... "Okay Lucy. I need you to stay calm and collected now... I will show you a memory... A memory that Belongs to... Sabre. It's about the king... The nightmare king." Lunar told me and... I suddenly saw the memories that belonged to sabre... He was... Fighting a guy named... Nightmare Steve. Was he... Gonna be here...? "Lucy...?" Yellow Steve looked concerned at me as I hadn't paid any attention at all to them... "sorry... I was just... Thinking." I coughed and Looked to the gate. "He's trying you help us... But he became a nightmare..." Yellow Steve said... "Is he called the nightmare king...?" I asked and glanced at yellow Steve.... Who just nodded. "Nightmare Steve." I simply said and looked at the gate which started to open... "The nightmare king... A Terrifying Steve." I sighed and hid with the others. "Did you bring my supplies?" The nightmare king asked. "Y-Yes sir!" His assistant sounded terrified... I got a close look at him and noticed... The darkness it was... Centered right in his heart... I immediately knew he wasn't like he used to be before. "He is just using the darkness...!" I overheard yellow Steve... "How...?" I quietly said and got a answer... From Yoosung... "The crystal..." Where was he... And why did HE answer me-

"Hello Nightmare king." Raven. "Raven. Good day." I heard the Nightmare kings deep laugh... "We need to confront them" sabre suddenly said. "Sabre...! Are you insane...?!" Liam seemed scared too... "sabre don't do it. You'll regret it!" I told him... But he ran over there anyway... "Oh... It's the Human fool." Raven laughed.... "It's that Human I told you about, Nightmare. See how pathetic he is?" How dare she... "A puny little human..." I growled and ran over, swords in hand. "Shut up!!" I screamed and slashed at her... She  easily blocked it with her own sword. "STOP TERRIFYING MY FRIENDS, RAVEN!! AND GO AWAY NIGHTMARE KING!!!" I yelled at them... And got slapped by the nightmare king. My cheek was burning up and even Liam ran over... His expression already told me that I must have a huge mark on my cheek now. "Lucy...! Your soul-" Lunar was about to say something but got cut off... By a different female voice "Attack him. Make him suffer. Cut the darkness out of him!" Was this... The darkness?

-Liam's POV-

I was protecting my sister as we were about to fight the Nightmare king... But she suddenly shoved me out if her way... The hand mark on her cheek had turned into a black mark...

And her eyes also had turned pitch black. No... Did the darkness take over her?! That's impossible!! "We will leave you alone for now." Her voice had changed too... "But be careful... You never know who is going to stab you as soon as you turn your back to them, nightmare king!" She was laughing... She suddenly clapped and we appeared back at the Rainbow Hub... "Lucy?!" Sabre yelled out to Lucy and ran to her... But she just simply pushed him to the ground. "I am not Lucy. Nor am I the darkness. Now... I will go to her room... And you will stay out." Lucy... No... IT said those words and went into the house. Me and orange ran to sabre and helped him up... I wanted to just run back trough the portal, save yellow and take the crystal from the nightmare king... But I knew it would be insane and even deadly if I tried that... but I ask myself... WHO was that lady? "Why is she like that, Liam...?" Sabre asked... "I wish could answer you that... But I can't." I teared up and looked up at the sky... did I loose my sister...?
