"It's been fun, hasn't it, Gang?"

"Yeah!" We called. Even Misty agreed.

"Except for when poor Bud had to walk that nasty old plank."

"If it wasn't for me, we wouldn't have found the treasure."

"Yes, we would. He'd already worked it out."

"He wanted to go for a swim anyway."

"It's okay, Misty. I didn't mind walking the plank. I knew the treasure was down there."

"Hang on a minute: where is the treasure?" Pip asked.

"What?!"

"The treasure's gone!"

"Hand it over, Misty," I said.

"How did-?"

"Years of experience."

Reluctantly, she handed it back to me.

"Mystery solved," I announced. "Misty had it."

"Captain Lefteye would've been so chuffed we found his treasure."
