"thank you." taehyung whispered as he was walking next to jungkook.

"hey it's fine." jungkook smiled at him and taehyung loved this smile already.

he then averted his gaze down, watching how easily his feet moved forward and comparing it to how uneasy he felt. "he was so different today, he never was like this. what the fuck was going on inside him?"

jungkook looked down, but then noticed taehyung's swollen wrist.
"give me your hand." he just said and taehyung looked firstly confused, but then obeyed.

again, it was the softest touch taehyung ever got to experience from a person. never in his life did someone treat him so gently. and it was just the first day he met jungkook.

"ouch." taehyung hissed when jungkook moved his thumb over the red spot. he looked into taehyung's eyes. "was he that?"

"y-yes."

jungkook stopped walking, making taehyung also stop. it was when jungkook moved taehyung's wrist closer to his face that taehyung's heart started pounding wildly against his chest.

and it stopped beating when jungkook started to softly blow against the skin.

taehyung blinked a million times, unable to move. he just watched what the younger was doing.

jungkook placed a soft kiss on the wound and taehyung blushed heavily. "i always felt better when my mother did this to me." jungkook smiled at the older and taehyung knew he was loosing himself in the younger's eyes.

"c-can i hug you again?" he asked softly and jungkook laughed. "of course you can."

hearing that, taehyung hugged jungkook, his arms around the younger's neck. jungkook slowly moved his hands around taehyung waist, smirking when he felt how small it was.

it isn't just a hug. it doesn't feel like a simple hug. there is so much more that they feel during the touch.

"thank you again." taehyung said into jungkook's ear and the younger felt a shiver run through him. taehyung's familiar voice always has the same effect in him.

he smiled, tightening his hold a little. none of them wanted to move, to leave the other.

"thank you too, angel." jungkook then whispered and taehyung moved a little back to look at him. "why are you thanking me?" he smiled confused.

"you make me happy." jungkook simply answered. the tension between them suddenly arose and it became a little too much. their breaths were brushing against each other's lips and the close proximity between their bodies let them also feel some kind of way.

in realization, they cut away from each other, with taehyung looking down with flushed cheeks and jungkook looking to the side, scratching the back of his head.

"w-we should go, it's getting dark." jungkook said and taehyung nodded.

they continued their walk without exchanging any words, too shy to talk. it's uncommon between them tho, because whenever they called, they talked about so much. there was never an end of talking.

"taehyung?"

"hmm?"

"d-do you really like me?"

taehyung pouted at that and nudged jungkook's shoulder. "if you ever doubt again that i like you, i'll kick you in your balls." he just answered and jungkook smiled.

"jungkook, seriously~." he whined. "you are the most handsomest person i've ever seen, the fuck, how can't you not see that? i bet if you were at my school every girl would drool for you." taehyung started and jungkook chuckled lightly at the older's cuteness. the way he moved his hands while explaining.

"would you let them?-"

"NO!" taehyung shouted, instantly, faster than yoongi's rap in agust d and then quickly covered his mouth with his hands and looked at jungkook with widened eyes. "i- ehm..." he awkwardly looked away and fastened his steps, so that jungkook can't see his red cheeks.
"we're almost there, follow me."

jungkook had a smug smile on his face, watching how taehyung awkwardly walked forwards.

"your house is really pretty, angel." jungkook smiled and the older blushed.

"y-yeah i love decorations and stuff." he laughed awkwardly. jungkook was still mesmerized. they entered the white house, revealing a hall, directly rooting to the living room, connected with the kitchen. the colors being white and beige, so smooth and lovely.

"i like the color combinations. beige is a color that makes you feel sad, but also warm. it's a mixture of loneliness and fullness." jungkook smiled as he stroke a beige vase with his finger tips.

a soft smile adorned taehyung's lips. "i remember you told me that you love drawing. you must know a lot about colors."

the younger nodded. "hmm, i do."

"what about purple? it's my favorite color."

jungkook looked into taehyung's deep, brown eyes before answering. "purple is a promise. it promises to trust and love a person forever."

"purple has such a beautiful meaning." taehyung spoke, not cutting the eye contact off.

jungkook smiled lightly. "it really does... purple is a mixture of blue and red. peace and passion. these two being what people call love."

loosing himself in jungkook's voice and his words is not uncommon for taehyung. he always does it. but right in that moment he was loosing himself in jungkook's everything. his voice, the way he uses words, the way his eyes hold galaxies, the warmth coming from him. even his looks. of course taehyung wouldn't have cared anyways, but damn it- jeon jungkook is hot as fuck.

taehyung gulped. "a-are you maybe hungry? do you wanna eat something? wait sit down on the couch, i'll bring you some water." taehyung made jungkook sit down and wanted to go, but got hold back.

"i'm not hungry, nor thirsty. i'm fine." the younger held onto taehyung's arm and pulled him slowly to sit next to him. taehyung followed jungkook's moves and sat down, looking at the younger with a smile.

"my heart is beating fast." jungkook abruptly chuckled and taehyung blushed at that.

the younger grabbed taehyung's hand placing it onto his chest, making taehyung look up to him with big eyes. "do you feel it?" jungkook asked and taehyung slowly nodded, feeling jungkook's heart beat under his hand.

but also hearing his own, when it started to pound faster.

their heartbeats were in sinc.

they smiled.
