jeon jungkook, a young boy from busan lives now all by himself in seoul. 4 years ago, after his mother's death his father abandoned him, leaving him to live at his grandma's.

jungkook is now 18 years old, he has no friends and doesn't talk much. an introvert you can say... but it's all because of his past.

he is mostly just staying at home and playing video games. you can believe it when people say that he played every ever existened video game that is known in south korea. literally.

now jungkook is an legal adult, he decided to move out and live alone. not because he doesn't like it at his grandma's, but because it was better for her to move to the retirement home, where she gets the needed support jungkook couldn't offer. she is very old, can barely move and jungkook wasn't strong enough to help her with everything.

in addition to that, he dislikes the idea of going to local school, since everything started in such a place.

a place where people are judged by their looks, their fits, their past and their sexuality. basically every flaw that gets found, is a new reason to get bullied.

jungkook was relieved that at that time in school no one knew he was gay. he believes that if people knew, he wouldn't only get bullied for how he looked like, but also because of his sexuality... a benefit of being quiet and just shutting his mouth when older students are talking to him.

in conclusion, he takes online courses, where he doesn't have to talk to people, just text with them sometimes and exchange solutions. as long as they don't know how he looks like, it's fine.

now he is alone, all by himself at his small flat. he gets a little money from his grandma every month and sometimes takes the neighbors dog out to earn some pocket money.

he loves to be alone and always stay at his home and not talk to people, play video games all day and being somehow poor as fuck.

who are we kidding, he hates it. he hates this loneliness, sometimes it eats him alive. a life with just him and his thoughts... that's the worst for him, but it's exactly what he's going through.

jungkook was sitting in front of the tv, the playstation being connected with it and letting a louder sound then the vacuum out. he was playing fortnite, a game people all around the world are playing currently.

he was so focused on the screen, ignoring his whole environment. what should there be anyways? he is always lonely.

but what if he isn't? what if there is a ghost in house, currently dancing to dynamite in the kitchen?

no, just kidding, he's alone.

he wanted to enter a new round, expecting everything to go on smoothly, hopefully the round starts faster and he doesn't have to wait to long.

until he received a sudden friend request.
"kth.gucci?" he read the name out loudly, probably the ghosts in the kitchen listening to him wonder why someone would suddenly send him a friend request.

jungkook normally doesn't accept friend requests, he has just a few virtual 'friends' on this game. but you can't call them friends, if they never talked to each other and just played together because they thought the other was a good gamer.

he debated with himself and came to the decision to just accept and play one or two round with 'kth.gucci'. he was bored, so why not?

who would've thought that this stupid friend request in a virtual game will turn his life upside down and let him forget the past, the present and make him dream about a future with a certain person?
