Phoenix and his mom were out for a walk one day. "Isn't this nice?" His mom said, Phoenix didn't reply. "Like really!" Still, Nothing. He came across a bush, thinking of how he could just slip into it and run away. "Mom?" he asked. "What would you do if I ran away?" His mom stared deeply at him. "I woul- HEY! COME BACK!" He had already leaped into the bush,
"WHERE ARE YOU? COME BACK!! PLEASE!" His mom yelled. Phoenix chuckled a bit, the possibilities were endless. He kept running, fur catching on thorns, but he didn't care. For the first time in his life he felt free.
He could do whatever he wanted. He didn't care about the pain, He just wanted to have freedom. "This is great!" He said with excitement. But it wasn't over just yet.
He found a big rock on a little cliff, and he stepped up on it with caution.It's texture was dusty and rough, as it was probably there for a long time. The huge stone could fall at any minute but he couldn't care less.
*Rumble*
"What was that..?" He immediately jumped off the rock, shaking his head, And continued to run off into the forest. He was starting to loose sight of his mother, which was good.
Rain began to pour down on his ruffled fur. Eventually he found a wide and welcoming cave, just begging for him to jump in. The stone was smooth and cold on his paws, and he felt the pain of the thorns worsening because of the rain. The icy rocks hurt his delicate paws. O-ouch.." He started to sob a bit "What have I done?.. This freedom was worth it though.. No regrets!" He sighed the pain off and sat down. His eyes slowly started to close and he began to drift off.
Phoenix was suddenly woken up my the sound of rustling. Startled, he sat up and looked around. The dew covered bushes gleamed in the sunlight, reflecting back at his eyes. A strange black cat walked slowly out of the them, his eyes drifting towards Phoenix.
"Hello."
"Who are you?!"
"I see you want freedom."
"Yes.. I do!"
"Come with me."
The strange cat let out his paw to the small tangerine cat.
"Come with me, And i'll show you TRUE freedom."
"..."
"Ok!"
He excitedly grabbed the strange cats paw
"My names master. Now, come home with me."
"Home? You live somewhere different?! WOAH!"
"Yes.. now.."
A purple portal opened, glowing bright.
"I-I go through there?"
"Yes."
"Ok.."
