Motivated to the bone,
We always seem to be,
To those who do not know our story,
The story of pain
Trauma and our old selves,
The story of the pain that changed into anger,
We gave out the whole of us,
And we still got nothing in the long run,
We became more short tempered,
But it was all the bottled hurt,
And deep down we needed to be loved,
To feel wanted,and to be cherished,
But what was wrong with us?
Why couldn't we get it back?
Codependency,we believe our happiness depends on others,
But the real happiness began from within us,
And what do we do?
We shut out that little voice and let our anger fuel us,
And that same anger changed into hunger for success,
But how do we succeed when all we're blinded with is pain?
We cry and let it go,
Which is the hardest part,
But the only way forward,
We're all built for pain,
And that's what makes us human,
We all struggle differently,
And attract certain energies,
Ever wonder why we're ending up in hell?
Because you do not give out positivity,
If we can not see the good side of the rough patches,
Then as well we can be the stem of our sadness,
We choose the lives we live.
