My formal letter to the creators of life,
Humbly, With Wholesome fictitious gratitude;
I resign.
I'm done with the petty bullshit that you call life.
Why were we created?
To be babied and poorly abed,
To grow and learn,
To make mistakes,
To work and provide,
To fuck,
then what?
Give birth with a partner who wooed you with words of bogus,
And a few occasional gifts of good spirit?
Only for them to turn into a beer-bellied leech of life.
If that is what life is,
I don't want it,
I don't want to pick nits,
Only for me to knit,
Then die unfit,
Hah, that's not legit.
fuck this system of examinations and pretentious tests of knowledge.
If that is what life is,
I don't want it.
I don't want to marry a man named Dave,
Who saves in case of a rainy day,
Who thinks living in a miserly spirit will prove useful one of these days.
He says "We'll book a nice trip to Barcelona"
He says "Let's have a glass of wine and watch the Telly"
He says "I'll stay at work a little longer, we need the bonus"
He says "bonus", when you know damn well he's saved for retirement.
He says "telly", when you know damn well it's because he doesn't want to spend.
He says "Barcelona", when you know damn well it's because it's the cheapest flight out.
FUCK THAT.
Why marry a man named Dave- when an Octavius exists?
Why do a bunch of exams when you can be a travelling nomad?
Earning as you go.
Why limit yourself to the typical holidays- when glaciers in Greenland are melting in anticipation of your arrival?
Why buy a golden lab- when friendless dogs roam the world in search of a companion like you?
If that is what life is,
I want to grasp it with both hands,
Pulling until I've escaped this mundane lifestyle.
If that is what life is,
then i rescind my resignation,
Humbly, With Wholesome kosher Gratitude.
