Down To Earth

I sat on the dge of a bright cloud in Heaven as i watched the flora and fauna below me thrive.

I always loved animals and the stars and planets, but Earth was my favorite.

Ive always held a soft spot in my heart for the incredible humans that lived upon the planet along with all of the magnicificent creatures that thrived there.

But Dad said that having emotions was a weakness-

I hummed a gentle tune as a lullabye to the earth as the veil of night descended upon the ground, slowly creeping in like a gentle breeze.my hair flew gently behind me as i sswung my legs back and forth as i took one last look at the earth before i decided that it might be a good idea to do something else.

With a light grunt, i dusted myself off and set off to find a new planet to watch from above.

The long golden corridoor lay ridden with doors that had several titles stamped into large golden plates that shimmered in the golden light of heaven.My fingers gently skimmed the walls as my fingers smoothed over each plate that held another magnificent story behind it,  my large and magnificent wings stretched to their full extent as they flapped idly in waiting to be used.

my fishtail braid laid on my right shoulder as i took gentle steps towards the end of the golden hallway. Massive chandeliers covered the celing along with various paintings of different planets and stories.

i felt myself gaze up at the perfectly painted constellations that grzced the black walls. each black wall covered with bright golden lights that flitted into various shapes and conestellations, until it fell upon an unlocked door at the very end of the dark corridoor.

"Thats odd, the coridoors are always lit-"

The hallway around me seemed to bend and warp suddenly as if begging me not to keep going, warning me to stop from moving.But as if i was in a trance, i slowly walked towards the door at the end of the hallways, tightly gripping my angel blade in my right hand.

"Hello-" i asked as my fingers gently grasped the doorknob as i slowly put my ear to the door to listen for anything.

a sad song came from the other side of the door...

Now that was really odd, the doors never made noise before.

Whats the worst that could happen???

i smirked to myself as i prepared for an adventure.

"Geronimo." i whispered before flinging the door open.

but i was met with an odd sight.

Nothing, absolutley positivley nohing.

almost as if the door led into a dark obvlivion the only thing that i  could make out was the song that was getting clearer.

Suddenly a large gust of wind toppled me off of my fent, whooshing me into the air, and shoving me into the door and the last thing i saw was the door closing before i let out a scream and my world went black.
