This song does not belong to me. "Better" is by Khalid and this lyric video was created by 7clouds on YouTube and I highly suggest supporting both creators. As always, I hope you enjoy!

"That truly happened?" Freeza questioned as he took a sip of the red wine he held in his hand. Sitting across from him was the one and only Prince Vegeta who too had a glass of the same wine in his hand. However, unlike the tyrant, the Saiyan was still working on his first glass. It made the Icejin wonder if Vegeta truly wasn't much of a drinker or if he merely didn't like wine.

"Oh yeah. Nappa is always the one who pulls some random nonsense. I would say Raditz and I are the ones to clean it up but Raditz doesn't do anything other than worsen the situations."

"Sounds like you take on the real role of a prince," Freeza joked but Vegeta didn't respond with any sort of chuckle or even a smirk, he merely took a small sip of his wine. That's how it always was when the two got together for their weekly wine and chat for the past three months. Though, it wasn't like anything truly changed between the two. Freeza knew Vegeta was using this to his advantage to get a better relationship with him. How he could tell would be Vegeta's lack of enthusiasm, which he understood the Saiyan didn't ever show much of, but there were a few times the Icejin had seen the passion. He would see it in Vegeta's eyes but they were filled with anger and resent now. It was a similar glaze Freeza saw within his own eyes, so he knew how to read past them.

"So," Freeza started, to grab the Prince's attention. "I believe I have neglected to tell you after these four long months we are finally nearing our destination."

"Is that right? This destination must be very special if we had to travel to the back ends of the East Galaxy for it," Vegeta stated.

"You'll see," Freeza mumbled before setting his wine down on the fixed table. There were still dents on the legs and throughout the surface but nothing that was too extreme to hinder its purpose. "Though this planet lies within my empire, I actually do not own it."

"Is it your brother's?" Vegeta asked before sipping on his wine once more.

"No. If it belongs to anyone it would technically be my father's. However, it was my mother's."

"Sounds like an interesting vacation spot, then. A place to mourn over a dead parent. Sounds peachy," Vegeta stated and it made Freeza's tail flick in anger, but he took a deep breath to calm his nerves. He knew Vegeta didn't mean anything by it and had to understand that, to most, vacationing on a planet holding memories of a deceased parent was odd.

"Well, I suppose I should lay the ground rules before we land. This planet is very important to my family and I will not tolerate you disgracing it in any way. Do I make myself clear? You are not permitted to cut down any trees, pick any fruit, or hunt any animals unless allowed by me personally," Freeza said sternly and he saw Vegeta's body tense as the look in his eyes turned to fear for a split moment before relaxing enough to nod his head.

"Understood, Lord Freeza," Vegeta said so formally it made Freeza draw back in his seat, with his wine in hand once more, and take a longer sip of his drink. The Icejin wished to be on vacation and completely let go of all his worries of work but that couldn't happen if Vegeta continued to call him lord. However, asking to not be called lord would lead to further suspicions from the Prince, and Freeza knew it. The thought made the tyrant nervous to the point that his hand started to shake, making the remaining wine in his glass ripple.

The past three months had been absolutely amazing and that was the problem. Once a week, Vegeta would come to his room and they would drink and talk. Nothing too special or any different than when he did so with Zarbon. Yet, Freeza continued to hold back his temper so he wouldn't continue to scare the Saiyan away. It's allowed Vegeta to loosen up a little bit and it was that relaxed nature that made the Icejin shake now. He actually found himself worried that he'd mess up and allow himself to slip. It was excruciating. He was the emperor and could have anything he pleased, so him holding back like this was unheard of. Then again, Vegeta wasn't a thing.
