Me: Alright alright! Time for the fun part of giving people credit that is due. *takes a deep breath* This song does not belong to me. This is "Kamehameha" made by S3RL featuring j0hnny. I recommend checking out this creators music on Youtube, Spotify, or anywhere you listen to music if you enjoy this song.
Beerus: Rather professional this time. Nice.
Me: I thought it would work better that way.
Beerus: Seems you have gotten smarter after so long.
Me: Mean! >o<

"Vegeta," Nappa's voice came through the Prince's scouter, interrupting the Saiyan's silence. He contemplated whether or not he should act like he was asleep to avoid talking with his team member, but he knew it would be much more problematic that way. Giving a long sigh, Vegeta pushed the button on his scouter and flicked through the different features of this new model until he landed on the communication option.

"What is it, Nappa?" Vegeta asked as he situated himself in the travel pod. The seats were as comfortable as the engineers claimed they could make them and they weren't all that bad, however sitting in the same place for long periods of time still caused the muscles and joints to lock up. Doing simple shifting movements helped eliminate those issues even if only for a moment.

"What's the story we are going to tell Lord Freeza on why this mission took so long?" Nappa asked.

"Well, for starters I should tell him how it was your fault for charging in without even considering they would defend themselves!" Vegeta snapped, causing Nappa to go silent.

"So," a different voice belonging to the other member of the Prince's team spoke up. "Your plan is to blame it all on Nappa? If that's the case, I'm in."

"Watch it, Raditz! It was your fault they even knew we were coming!" Nappa snapped back at the low-class warrior.

Having had enough, Vegeta turned off his scouter completely and returned to his resting position, though Nappa's question did swim around in his thoughts. The small team did take three days longer than expected to take control of the planet, meaning Freeza would definitely want to question Vegeta on why. However, the Prince was not worried. Have the same issue about eight years ago and Vegeta would be concerned but as of late, the Prince has noticed how much he has been able to get away with. Issues that would usually result in his death were blown off as if they weren't an issue or bother to the tyrant. All Vegeta needed to do was to tell the truth, and just as it's been for the past eight years, Freeza would give him a mere slap on the wrist and move on.

Seeing the tyrant getting so careless made Vegeta smirk. Not only was he slowly going up in ranks, but he was flying just enough under the radar to make Freeza believe he was no big deal. It has been a slow process, but the past twenty years all have been leading to this moment. It's the only goal the Prince has ever had since his planet was destroyed by a meteor. If the universe wished to take his planetary throne then he'd take the universal one instead.

Freeza-Base Planet 1 inbound. Docking in five minutes.

Vegeta opened his eyes to see that his pod's computerized voice was right. Freeza's main base was in sight. As required by Freeza's order, those who finish a mission are to return here to give their full report, either in person or by paperwork. When the three would land they would be directed to their sleeping quarters. There they would be told whether or not they have to give a report personally or by filling out paperwork. It was a simple enough procedure, making it not so unbearable, however the chance of meeting with Freeza and the possibility of not making it out of his room alive, has filled most soldiers with fear.

When the three Saiyans landed in an open docking area, Vegeta instantly opened his pod, exited it and saw his team doing the same. Raditz was stretching his arms while Nappa glared at the long haired Saiyan, letting Vegeta know that they didn't end well with their argument.
