Christmas Gift (Jay)

        You growl in frustration. Christmas is in two days, and you got most of everyone's presents. You just need to find the perfect gifts for Bri (A/N: That's me!), and Jay. It's not that Jay is hard to shop for usually. You just want to make sure that it's the perfect gift. Bri, on the other hand is a total pain in the arse. (A/N: It's true. I get complaints every year from everyone who tries to shop for me.) But with Jay, well, you want to get him something special. Something only you would think of getting him.

        You continue to look around the mall with Nya.

        "Why don't you get Jay a new stereo?" she asks.

        "Because I don't have that much money, and I want to get something more personal than that." You say, getting annoyed at the stress you put yourself under.

        "Then why don't you give him what he really wants? A date with you." She replies with a tone that says it's the most obvious idea in the world. (A/N: I'm writing this as a NyaxCole, even though I'm not a huge fan of that ship. Anyways, on to the story.)

        "What? You're kidding right?" You question, surprised by her blunt suggestion. She chuckles, "Come on (Your Name). It's obvious that you like Jay, and everyone knows he has a thing for you. Well, everyone except you apparently." You blush, knowing she's right about your crush on the lightning ninja.

        "Fine. I'll ask him on a date, if you admit to Cole that you like him as well." You say, feeling a bit more confident, putting the spotlight on Nya's crush. Her cheeks turn a light shade of pink, "D-deal."

        "Good. Now what should we get Bri?" You ask, changing the subject.

        "That is a good question." Nya says with a chuckle.

        "Do you think she'd accept Kai as a present?" You joke with a wink.

        "Gross. (Your Name), that's my brother! Just the thought of that is so freaking disturbing." Nya cringes, making you laugh. (A/N: It's not that Kai isn't a cool character because he is. It's just that most people find the idea of someone hooking up with their sibling completely disgusting. Oh, you don't care. OK, on with the story.)

                                                 ~Time Skip to Christmas~

        You and your ninja friends are just finishing up opening your presents. You got Sensei Wu some herbal tea, and Lloyd the latest issue of Star Farer. You gave Cole the newest CD of (Your favorite band/artist), Kai some hair gel. Zane opened his gift from you to find a new set of kitchen knives. Nya loves the charm bracelet you got her along with the (Your favorite scent) perfume. And Bri is excited to see the scented candle that you bought for her.

        After all the present opening. Everyone goes off to do their own Christmas thing. Nya and Cole go to the game room to watch Christmas films. Bri drags Kai and Lloyd to go caroling. Zane gets started on the big Christmas dinner, and Wu went off to his room to meditate, leaving you and Jay all alone.

        You notice that Jay looks a little disappointed.

        "What's wrong Jay?" You ask, concerned.

        "Are you mad at me?" He questions, looking up at you guiltily. Your eyes go wide in shock, "What in the world would make you think that?"

        "Well, you got everyone but me a present. So I thought, maybe I've done something to tick you off so bad you didn't get me anything." He explains.

        "Of course I'm not mad at you. And I do have a present for you. I just didn't want to give it to you in front of everyone else." You say, blushing at the thought.

        "Really? Well, what is it?" He asks, sounding a lot more excited. You take a deep breath, "Close your eyes."

        He obeys, shutting his eyes. You lean in close before your own eyes close as well. You press your lips against his gently. You instantly feel butterflies in your stomach. It doesn't take long for him to kiss back. He grabs you by the waist, pulling you closer. You smile into the kiss as you reach your arms around his neck.

        After a few moments, you pull away happily.

        "Jay, will you go out with me?" You ask slightly out of breath, but your self-confidence is at an all-time high so you don't care.

        "Are you saying I get you as a girlfriend for Christmas?" He inquires. You giggle, "If you say yes." He grows a huge grin on his face.

        "Yes! Best Christmas ever!" He shouts before kissing you again. You have to admit, it's kind of hard to disagree with that thought.
