"Take care, Yuna."

Suddenly Yuna started to mumble some incoherent words. She was sleeptalking. Ryujin stopped in her tracks and turned around. A tear had escaped the corner of Yuna's closed eyelid.

Ryujin blinked a few times and stood still as if her leaving would worsen the situation.

Having a soft heart, she sat on the edge of Yuna's bed and stared at a blank space on the floor. She held Yuna's hand and watched her sleep. She kept crying and then the most drama-like thing happened.

Yuna pulled the older girl in for a hug. The latter was startled but she didn't budge at all.

"Mom, don't leave me..."

She felt like she herself was about to cry hearing her say those words.

She wrapped her left arm around her waist while she softly caressed the back of her head with her other free hand, "Shh... I'm not leaving."

Yuna seemed to settle down and because of how close they were, Ryujin felt her breathing become steadier. She shifted her position so that her body was comfortable next to Yuna's and waited. Unknowingly, she herself began to feel drowsy.

The next day, Ryujin woke up to her face barely an inch away from Yuna's. Her eyes widened but she didn't move. Something pulled her to keep staring at the younger girl's facial features. Her eye makeup was a little smudged from crying last night, but she still looked beautiful.

She carefully got off the bed and took one last look before she left the room of the girl who left a lasting impression on her.

I woke up and she was no longer there. Yet something had changed. My head hurt like I fell against a brick wall last night.

Events started to flicker through my memory. Everything from the time she asked me if my house was far to now was a blur. I noticed my ankle wrapped securely in a brown elastic bandage and felt myself smiling uncontrollably.

My smile faded as I realized she was gone. I had no means of contacting her. What's worst is the only thing I could do if I was really desperate to see her, is to go back to that bar. I cringed just thinking of it.

After almost getting caught breaking the law last night, I was in no way prepared to go back. Heck, I forgot that she might not even be there. I got her fired.

I really had to see her again. I ruined her life while she showed me unconditional care.

"Ms. Yuna, breakfast is ready."

I gulped and looked at the clock. I just realized that I overslept.

"Okay, thank you. I'll be right down."

Our family maid did a doubletake and then left. I raised an eyebrow. Did I just thank her? Oh wow, everything must be going to ruins. I'm not myself today and she knows it.

I bowed my head, "Thank you Driver Song. See you later,"

He also did a doubletake and nodded. I felt like being extra kind today and I knew it was because a huge part of me wanted God to notice it. I wanted so badly to see her that I was doing all sorts of things.

As I went down from the car, my friends were already waiting for me at the gate.

"Hey Lia, Chaeryeong," I greeted. They raised an eyebrow, their eyes immediately noticing the bandage around my ankle.
