Chapter 4 : Asset out of containment

Claire looked at the screen in shock as she exited the elevator seeing dozens of people devastated in the control room.
"Everyone. Remain. Calm."
You blacked out, completely losing consciousness. Your vision was blurry with a ringing in your head as you felt yourself finally awake hardly remembering anything just happened to you.
You then blinked a few times and realized you were buried under something that smelled worse then your aunts cooking. Rotting dead animal carcasses and bones that were picked clean. You had jolted upwards in shock as a few bones flew off you and into the rest of the pile, as you then groaned in pain grabbing your chest and falling back. You remembered what happened, and it was not good.
You shifted your eyes to the large door exit to your left which was forced open, as you looked with wide eyes and heavy breath
"That thing...it's out there..."
You groaned In pain again as you turned to your side attempting to get up, but then you heard the jingle of your ringtone go off, feeling your phone buzz still inside your pocket (the jingle ringtone is totally the satellite phone jingle from Jurassic Park III)
You then raised your left arm up and reached into your pocket, pulling out your phone you gasped when you saw Zara's phone number.
You turned onto your back and raised your right arm to answer it and put it on speaker
"Z—Zara ??"
You said weakly in pain
"Y/N ! Oh thank god ! I tried to call twice and I thought went wrong ! Actually wait a minute, something did go wrong ! I lost the boys! Claire's nephews are gone they wondered off without while I was talking to you on the phone a few moments ago! I don't know what to do I'm searching everywhere in the park but I can't—Y/N?"
"Fuck..."
You mouthed hearing about Claire's nephews, not wanting to think of how much worse this day could get.
Zara feeling the pain and distress in your voice then spoke again with concern
"What happened ? Are you hurt!? Did the Raptors-!?"
"No, NO! Zara, honey, listen to me, something is—agh!!"
You grunted feeling the pain in your chest from that whack from the I.Rex's tail
"Y/N ! Oh god baby what happened !?"
"Z—Zara, listen, there's not much time but, th-theres been a..a containment breach."
"A containment breach? A dinosaur broke out !?"
Asked Zara
"N-no..this...thing..it was no dinosaur. Something horrible."
You gritted your teeth fighting the pain
"What do you mean? Sweetie your scaring me..."
"Remember those frilled Spitters in paddock 12? They're nothing compared to this monstrosity....Dr. Wu and Claire worked together to create a genetic hybrid, and they raised it in captivity, it's the exact size of the tyrannosaurus. They call it the Indominus Rex."
You said as Zara went silent in the phone
"Zara?"
"I...I didn't think it was real...but..it's out there isn't it?"
"Yeah..It broke out and it almost killed me. Now listen very closely honey, I need to calm down. Right now I need to call someone from the park who can help, try calling Simon Masrani, Henry Wu, or Claire, I think they're already aware of what's happening."
You said coughing up blood for a moment
"B—but what about you?! I can't leave you there-"
"Zara. Please, don't worry, I'll be fine, first just stick finding the boys, get everyone to get to a emergency center, call someone who can help, and I'll meet up with you on Main Street."
"Honey..I...I'm scared..."
Zara whimpered through the phone
"Zara. Sweetheart. I'm going to be okay. I love you so much. I promise I'll get to you. Life finds a way."
You said before hanging up.
"Life finds a way.."
Zara mumbled. Zara then began to search the entire park for Zach and Gray from the T.Rex enclosure, to the Mosasaurus Lagoon, the Herbivore enclosures, and then to the Raptor enclosure hoping to find Owen still there, but was confused as to what was going on.
Only Vic Hoskins and Barry were there along with a few other park workers, and all five of the raptors were locked in separate cages with metal muzzles around their faces forcing them to keep their mouths shut.
"What do you think, wanna take one home ?"
Asked Barry
"Hey don't joke, I recused a wolf pup, could barely walk. Every night he'd sit on my bed and watch over me. My wife see she came at me with a stack knife, took a chunk out of her arm."
Said Hoskins
"Did You put him down?"
Asked Barry
"Well, you know Uh...we had a unshakable bond you know? Just like you guys and...what's his name again?"
Asked Hoskins pointing to Delta.
Barry looked at Hoskins and said
"Delta. And she's a girl."
"Can I Uh..."
Asked Hoskins
To which Barry nodded as Hoskins slowly reached his hand out to delta who began snarling, as soon as Hoskins placed his hand on the side of her head she began snarling and causing the cage to move a bit, but unable to fight back, as Hoskins laughed petting delta as if she was domesticated house dog.
As Zara stood there watching them she then said
"Hey !"
As she walked forward, Hoskins and Barry turned in her direction.
"Well well well, if it isn't Y/N's little wife. Come to get front row seats to the show?"
Zara took her attention away from Hoskins when she saw Red struggling inside the cage he was consumed with a metal muzzle like contraption holding his head in place as he then became slightly overjoyed to see the person he considered part of his pack since birth.
"Red.."
Zara walked to the dromeosaur and placed her hands on other sides of his head in a comforting manner.
Zara then turned to Hoskins and glared
"What is going on? Where's Owen ?"
"Owen and your husband went with Claire to check out this brand new dinosaur Dr.Wu made. They say it's a new attraction that'll made billions of cash."
Said Barry
Zara froze and looked terrified.
"The Indominus Rex."
She whispered in raspy voice still slightly exhausted from running around the park.
"What's that?"
Asked Hoskins
Zara then looked up at Hoskins and Barry
"The Indominus Rex. It...it got out, it's roaming freely in the park ! You have to help find my husband and Owen, I think they're in danger !"
Zara said
"What? What appended ?"
Asked Barry with concern as Hoskins formed a smile
"Y/N was attacked by it as it was escaping and he called me and told me everything, I think Owen escaped but I haven't heard from InGen or Mr. Masrani ! I think they're both in immense danger !"
"Okay, I'll contact the contact room !"
Said Barry running off out of sight
As Hoskins then turned to Zara with a grin on his face
"So you know about Henry's little mad science project huh? Well, looks like the show has finally begun."
"What are you talking about?"
"Tell me, the whole point of Jurassic World is to get the chance to see and experience these animals that went extinct millions of years ago right?"
Asked Hoskins
"Yes."
Said Zara
"So, what makes you think that anybody here wants to see a horrible mutated crossbreed that never existed? That's sole purpose in life is bring absolute destruction and chaos to humanity."
Said Hoskins
"Get to the point."
"The point is...Zara. This is all a setup. Wu has big plans for InGen, and your boss Claire Dearing had a hand in the authorization of this monster. And trust me, they're not gonna be all about incubating giant lizards and birds for family fun parks anymore. The Indominus Rex is just the beginning of a new era."
Said Hoskins as Zara stood in shock
"you know you've some nice legs there, what time do they open ?"
Hoskins smirked walking around and attempted to grope her, to which Zara spun around and slapped him across the face
"Fuck you, Hoskins. You'll be hearing from
Mr. Masrani for this !"
Zara then ran off
"Bitch. What does she know? Nobody will even believe her. At least without evidence I was ever involved."
