Will felt numb.

It was as if his body wasn't his own and he was just drifting off in the open sea. He just didn't feel right and the antidepressants weren't working today.

"Are you sure you're okay?" asked, Kayla but she had already questioned him several times in the past hour.

'Yes, I'm sure." Will responded in what he hoped to be a cheerful voice, smiling at her as if there wasn't a tsunami ensnaring his mind.

She didn't seem to believe his lie but knew that she would not be able to get another answer out of him.

He worked in a daze. Wrapping wounds, healing injuries, and talking with the patients seemed to pass with haze. Nico's absence had tore a deeper hole in Will's chest, the sinking feeling quadrupling with every step. His brain couldn't shut up this time.

This is all your fault, you know. You drove Nico away with your disgusting face. He felt uncomfortable with your feelings for him.

Will banged his head against the wall.

STOP, stop. I don't want to hear it. Just stop.

He begged the voices as if they would obey his pleas.

Stupid Solace! You really think we would stop? We're going to keep going until there is nothing left of you. You just couldn't do it right the first time around so we're going to get the job done.

Will raced to his cabin, tore open his bag and rummaged for the bottle. Finding it, he opened it shaking a few pills into his palm and dry-swallowing all of them.

Finally, some peace.

"Knock, knock can I come in?" A voice rang out, simultaneously knocking the door.

"It's clearly open, it always is. This is the infirmary." Will replied.

Percy Jackson walked in with a grin. This was the guy that everyone in the camp virtually adored. He was the hero that saved all of them. The story would probably be told to all campers until the end of time.

"What can I do for you?"

"I came to invite you for a little get-together in my cabin with the seven and Nico. I just wanted to thank you for your help in the war and for taking care of Nico. You don't have to accept." Percy said and Will felt bad for greeting him sarcastically.

"Of course, I would be thrilled to come. Thank you for the invite. What time should I come over?"

"Around 7. There will be food and refreshments, all in blue though."

"Okay, sounds good." Will agreed.

Percy stood there for a second, staring into Will's face. Will starting to get uncomfortable looked away and heard Percy mutter something under his breath.

"How are you his type?"

"What was that?"

"Oh, nothing. I'll see you tonight." Percy dismissed Will's query and walked out.

How did this guy save the world again?

"So what should I wear?"

Will looked at Lou Ellen for guidance.

"Beats me, man. Just do whatever." Cecil grumbled in his corner.

"I wasn't asking you, I was asking Lou."

Lou just rolled her eyes at both of them before seriously consulting the options. Will had laid out a blue shirt that his mom said brings out the color in his eyes with some khaki shorts or a green button-up with blue ripped jeans.

"You've never cared this much about your clothing." Cecil commented but Will just shrugged, not ready to admit that he was feeling majorly self-conscious.

"Maybe he just grew a brain unlike you." Lou remarked, lightly flicking the brown-haired boy's forehead.

Cecil just stuck his tongue out in childish pettiness.

"I would say the blue shirt with khakis. It's a more casual vibe," she decided.

Will nodded in agreement.
