Chapter 7

They all grown pale. Looking at each other then to the king who had called in someone to remove the dead body. Some shook, while others had gone weak in the knees deciding to sit down. They all began to think about it.

A sacrifice, but who would it be. Does the Demon want someone in specific? What would happen if he didn't get it?

But then they all wondered what will happen with the lamb they give to the wolves. Would he torture and, inevitably kill them. They all pondered, who deserved such a horrendous fate. Little did they notice the dark glow that made it's home in a married couples eyes. However they felt the room go cold as the couple smiled and began speaking.

"We have an idea on who it should be," They both said smiling darkly at the people who called themselves friends. The king finding himself slightly aghast at there sudden change in demeanor.

"And who would that be?" The king said shying away from the devious looking couple. Who only smirked at him in turn. Ariel's smirk only growing larger into a wicked grin.

"We could give him the waste of an egg, otherwise known as Mason." She said smiling as she pictured ways the demon could hurt her son in way's that she could only dream. However the way that the king gazed at her seamed to conflict her decision. And thus he decided he must as, what made a mother hate her child so. He expected hatred in her response but not at this level.

" That cursed child should ruin that demon like he has ruined this world. The very oxygen he breathes corrupts all that is holy on this mortal plane. He is the cause of this all thus, he must be used to end it." Was all she said as she stared definitely at the King daring him to question,and ask for another sacrifice, She had given them all an answer that shouldn't be to stupid as to try and find another. Mason deserves a worthless life full of torment, and that is what he shall receive. All the other's stared at her as if she was mad, none of less willingly accepted her offer. And that is how they would spend the next hour planning on how they would carry out their plan. It was all simple.

While Chris and Ariel had gone to get the child, at the castle the maids would prepare a nightgown and a bath in order to make sure he is pure. Allowing the demon to do as he would wish for the teen. Whilst this would happen the King would make sure to grab two flowers a chrysanthemum and a carnation. The meaning not being obvious to all but death and apology was the point meant to cross. And so the final preparations of the sacrifice was completed. They didn't notice a creature lurking quietly in the halls observing and listening to them all. Though one would think it's large size would cause it to be easily spotted, however it moved silent barely even creating a sound. But, let's not reveal her right now.

Master is correct, these humans are delirious. And that mother she's crazy and hilariously stupid. Master would never dare hurt his mate. And how dare she believe that she has the authority. I knew humans to be silly, but this may be the hardest I have ever to laugh. I had to end my joy fest quickly though, they were rounding the corner an I didn't want to be revealed...just yet.

3rd Pov

A creature silent within it's castle walls. A king settled with regret. And a mother and Father with a murderous intent. My, my, my there is darkness coming both good and bad. However those effected might not be so glad.
