"Ten?"

Johnny stood there, now in complete silence, his hand resting on the back of the chair he was supposed to sit down on but didn't due to extreme shock.

The mentioned male was just as, if not more, shocked than Johnny. He nervously fixed his hair as well as the collar of his shirt, just simply feeling the need to keep his hands occupied with something or else he might go crazy.

A guy he tried to get over for 6 years was here and he looked better than ever. The singular strands of his brown hair falling on his face were the only even remotely familiar detail about him that Ten remembered throughout all those years. He also remembered how the other always used to blow upwards, hoping to get his hair off his face, but it never worked out anyway.

Johnny just stood there, observing the younger male carefully. He had to admit that Ten had definitely changed a lot when it came to looks. His spiky, black and red hair was now replaced with simple black hair, cut just at the tip of his ears. He definitely had some light makeup on and was dressed in some black skinny jeans and a black shirt with some jewels outlining the collar. He looked way more mature but that was actually sort of amazing to Johnny in a way, since it was so different to what he had remembered.

"So..." coughed Jaehyun, breaking their moment of silence which felt like hours to the two boys but in reality it was about thirty seconds, a minute at most. "Do you guys know each other?" He asked, sitting down on the empty seat next to Taeyong, leaving Johnny with no choice but to sit down next to the Thai, but it's not like he was complaining anyway.

"I guess you could say that, though we haven't spoken in years." Ten carefully pointed out, putting more emphasis on the second part of the sentence as if he was trying to convince someone that that is in fact a huge matter.

"I literally thought you died" Johnny thought but he bit his tongue before voicing it. He was here for Jaehyun's film, not for a date with Ten though he had to admit that the younger looked absolutely stunning that evening. It was just that the setting wasn't appropriate for him to say that. He just nodded as a response, avoiding Jaehyun and Taeyong's stares as if they were fire. They weren't mad or anything, more like worried but he couldn't even think of that.

The four buys stayed in silence for a few minutes, occupied with reading the menu and picking something to eat for the night. The only dialogue exchanged during those moments was between each of them and the waiter (who much to Johnny's disgust, was eyeing all of them from head to toe).

"So!" Jaehyun finally spoke up when they were left alone and clapped his hands excitedly. "We are here for business so it doesn't matter whether you guys have been through some shit together, you just have to cooperate for now."

All of them nodded and the conversation was finally brought to the film; the costumes, the story in general and pretty much everything that Jaehyun had written down on his notepad.

"I'm assuming Mr. Suh and Mr. Lee will work on the outfits together, especially since they both have this specific style." He looked at Johnny who glared at him intensely but he just gave the older a shrug.

Some time later the food arrived and it became a nice addition to the quite peaceful conversation. They even made a few jokes during it, laughing quietly each time.

The group walked out of the restaurant around 10pm. It was a bit cold and windy but pretty much all of them except Ten were used to it so they didn't even bat an eye. The Thai on the other hand was shaking which didn't go unnoticed by Johnny.

"Hey, Ten, do you have a way to get home?" He asked, approaching the shorter male and standing really close to him, which made the latter shiver.

"I... don't. My manager doesn't only work with me and he had to pick someone up. I've never bought a car so you know, I thought the subway was the way to go." Ten answered honestly and silently watched Johnny's brows furrow in surprise.
