After school, you logged into your computer, despite not touching it for months since you didn't really have anything to do on it. You clicked the link that Jessica sent you on Discord and started to feel nervous since you've never seen a live stream before, especially from someone you know. You were kind of excited about it and took a deep breath, waiting for the advertisement to end.
He was wearing the same clothes as he was at school except he had a shirt on instead of a hoodie since it grew kind of hotter. You began to type in chat but hesitated, you had no idea what to say and if he'd even see it as you realised the chat was going at 2 miles an hour.
Finally, you pressed send and the message 'hi alexis, it's y/n' flooded the chat and disappeared within an instant. Surprisingly, he saw it quite quickly as if he was looking for your name.
"Hey y/n, welcome to the stream." He waved at the camera with a smile on his face and went to look at the chat again. His fans were starting to question who you were while others were just spamming.
"Oh, um... she's my friend." He spoke, mining some coal in Minecraft.
You observed the chat and saw a bunch of people spamming 'he likes her' and stupid stuff like 'simp'. When Alexis looked over to chat again, he furrowed his eyebrows, appearing slightly mad.
"Come on guys, why can't I just stream some gameplay with my friend watching?" He whined, building out of the mine as a creeper was about to explode beneath him. You decided to leave the stream as you caused his fans to go mental and did the homework you were assigned.
You were quite shocked at the sudden words that you read in your mind. You were in deep thought over the fact this boy apparently 'liked' you. You opened the video and began to watch the screen recording that Jessica took.
"Wow chat, you made her leave- shut the fuck up, I don't like her... I mean I do but- shut up!"
You violently blinked at your screen, replaying it, hoping you heard it wrong but the boy that had complimented your outfit today actually liked you. You started to piece the evidence together and sighed in realisation.

You started typing the words 'I don't like him' to the blonde-haired girl you were friends with, but as soon as you hit send, the contact responded with 'You can no longer contact this person." What the fuck? You were stunned over the fact that your best friend, Jessica threw a sudden bitch fit at you. You couldn't believe that she had just blocked you over some guy that she only just basically met. You smothered a pillow into your face and cried silently, knowing that your mum could potentially hear.
You threw the pillow to the side and pushed the hair sticking to your damp face out of the way and went onto Instagram, searching up the user 'quackityhq' and slid into his dms, typing a hateful message.

You hesitantly hovered over the send button before actually pressing it and chucked it beside you, lying down in your bed in complete silence and staring at the wall. You couldn't even cry anymore, you just lay there, thinking about Alexis's words over and over. You didn't understand the boy's sudden feelings, out of everyone in the school, why me? you thought.
