I practically want to sleep right now. I can't open my eyes any longer.

I thought about these while waiting in the police investigation room. I saw the same two police officers sitting infront of me, one going through the files and one sitting on the chair looking through the computer.

With me, there was the boy I had been stuck these past few days and Kim Seokjin.

When we first entered, everyone. I say, Everyone looked at us. Everyone stared at me, following by Jin and lastly following to the boy beside me. People practically stared at us. Embarrased enough I quickly went to the office and asked for  permission to enter.

And soon I was greeted with the same box smile.

He offered some snacks but I denied. Jin being Jin, he agreed earning a chuckle from the officer named Cha Bimhyun.

He was so hurt when he asked me if I remember his name and I replied with a, "No, I'm sorry I forgot to ask your name then."

But soon his friend told me that he was a big fan of my music. He sometimes even cries hearing my music. Before even ending that sentence the poor officer had to zip it up due to Bimhyun-ssi's intense death glare. 

Present

I felt the awkward silence stabbing me, as each minute passed. Jin soon became bored and started to play games on his phone. The boy beside me looked at every corner of the room his eyes taking every piece of details.

I still do not understand why was he bought here.

I turned my gaze to Bimhyun-ssi. He was perplexed at the computer.

Soon, becoming bored of the situation I decided to muster up courage and ask officer Baekhyun questions that had been swirling up in my head. Sitting straightly, leaning forwardly towards the table I coughed to gather everyone's attention.

Bimhyun-ssi looked at me confused.

"As a high class police station in Seoul, I am disappointed in your performance, officer,"

Both of the officer seemed to blush in embarrassment. Shameful for taking so long at investigating who the said boy was.

"I hope you have atleast found who he is, whether his name or his parents?" I asked deciding to drop the sarcastic remarks and continue to the main topic.

The silence gave my answer.

Before I was able to speak the second standing officer decided to speak up. He looked at me, dead in the eyes and said, "Sorry miss, We are the police. And as a police I bet you have the least experience on what we go through to find information for each and every citizen. We hope you understand our tough situation here or atleast try to understand. We would like to interrogate the boy now."

I looked away from him. Loss of words.

Actually, I was loss at words on how I literally became childish over the serious matter. Police works are seriously so tiring and tough. I should respect them atleast. I should apologize.

"I am sorry, I lost my cool there." I slowly say, but loud enough to tell the said officer.

He chuckled. "It's okay, miss. Looks like you are having less sleep. It probably irritated you. I'm sorry, We will work harder," he said smilingly.

I smiled back.

Jee Chanwook. I see.

"But we need to know what your name is boy. Without it we won't be able to locate where your parents are. Please help us so we could help you."
he said.

But seeing the boy, he only looked back at the officer. Saying nothing. He kept like that for another good minute. The officer asked him again.

He still didn't utter a word.

Until the police officer decided to sigh and ask him his question one more tome adding if he had problems to talk or understand the language.

He kept looking at him.

"Well...this is a huge problem. Well, Miss?" the cop now turned to me, sighing in disappointment.

"Yes?" I replied. Scared what I would have to face now.

"Since he is a minor, we would have to gather his details thoroughly. For the mean time, can you take him as temporary guardian? We will guide you extra security and stuff-"

The decision was upto me. When we were discussing, Jin had his eyes widened like saucers and The boy next to me looked at me in innocence. As if he was very eager to know what will I decide.

"Sure." I said. Looking confident as I was.

Jin was dumbfounded. The boy was staring at me in awe. Bimhyun-ssi looked at me if I had grown another head.

"O-Ok, Then please sign these papers."

"Here." I instantly signed the papers.
