Recognising the number, although I don't know where from, I pick up the phone and slide across the screen to answer the call.
"Hi Harry, it's Lizzie from Modest! management."
My heart sinks, and I let out a sigh. I know exactly what is coming.
"We're bringing One Direction back. I've emailed you the booking reference for the plane. Take off is 6 am tomorrow." A shrill voice comes down the phone.
"You're bringing the boys back?" I mutter.
"Yes, that is what I said, Harry. You need to listen more. I've called the rest of them, and they're on board."
"Is Zayn coming back too?"
"Yes. He took some convincing but he's flying out to London tomorrow too."
I say nothing. I know how damaging the band was to Zayn. I also wonder how they got hold of him - the guy hasn't touched a phone in seven years.
"Harry? You still here?"
"Yeah, sorry. I'll see you soon I guess."
I hang up immeditately. The contract I signed nearly ten years ago says I have to rejoin One Direction as soon as Modest! decides, and I have no choice but to do it and drag myself away from my current work.
Nerves fill my body. I haven't seen any of the boys in nearly four years. The last time I saw Zayn was when he left the band, just over five years ago. I think of Louis - my ex-boyfriend. Our relationship didn't exactly end well, and I dread seeing him again. I shudder and sit down at the dining table, throwing my phone down on the sofa nearby.
I grab a suitcase from the wardrobe, and look around. Picking up a smaller bag, I gather my possessions from the bathroom before coming back into the bedroom. Scanning the row of clothes, I grab four pairs of skinny jeans that I haven't worn since 2015. I figure that management will want to bring back the branding from five years ago, even though it's not me anymore. I go to grab some shirts, looking at my options. I grab the signature plain black, white and grey shirts before choosing something that reflects me more. A grey and pink floral shirt now sits on top of the pile.

"This is the last call for flight 203 to London, England."
Rolling my eyes, I stand up from the metal chair beneath me and sigh. Following security, I drag my suitcase behind me, only carrying enough for a few days, seeing as I also have a place in London, that has some of my stuff. The wheels rapped against the floor rhythmically as I hand my ticket to the rather unimpressed blonde woman with harsh eyes stood behind the desk. She flashes me a strange look, probably because I have three guards, even larger than me, stood around me in a well-rehearsed formation.
Walking out to the plane, I spot a familiar face. I double take before realising who it is.
"Nialler!" I yell, holding up my arm to wave.
He whips around, his once blond but now natural brown quiff falls onto his forehead. He raises his arms and waves, before practically running towards me, beaming.
I break free from my security and fall into the boy's familiar arms. His glasses press into my chest. and I feel tears dampen my sweater. I take a deep breath in, his scent comforting, the same as all those years ago.
"Holy crap," I say to the top of his head, "Been a while, hasn't it?"
"Too long," He mumbles back into my shoulder. I hold him for a few moments, rocking slightly.
"Where's your seats?" I ask, breaking free from his tight grasp.
"We got private ones at the front of the plane," He gestures before looking back at me.
"Hey, same. The ones separate from everyone else?"
He nods.
"How do you feel about this? The whole reunion thing," He asks, gazing into my eyes. I take in the features of his face that had left my memory over the years.
"I don't know, I want to be together, but I nervous about seeing Lou again. It's been a while, you know?"
He nods knowingly again. The rest of the boys knew about us, knew we had to hide it, and how it ended. He pats me on the back in an attempt to comfort me.
"Come on, mate. Let's get this show on the road!"
