I Love You

Nathan's POV

I love Ariana. So much. Today I was gonna take her to a really romantic place with rose petals. I was gonna do everything I could to make her happy and be my girlfriend. I had everything planned, the only I was worried about was what she would think about it. We had become best friends. I really didn't want to spoil our friendship. Like, what if she didn't love me and said no? Then I would be heartbroken and everything would be awkward between us. I surely didn't want that.

Wait-what the hell are you thinking? Nathan James Sykes, shut up, and man up. You're 20 freaking years old!! You've got this! Anyway there's no turning back now unless you want  to clean up thousands of rose pedals that you scattered across the ground.

I was so, so, so scared and nervous,  but at the same time, so excited.

We had an after-party for Ariana's concert. Me and Ari hung out alot. The party lasted until 2 in the morning. Ari and I talked about our childhood. We drank soda and we found out that we had so much in common. The same age,(20) favorite TV show(spongebob ) and episode(pizza delivery ),favorite soda(orange soda),favorite color(blue)and favorite film(Home Alone ). Ariana was so nice. Lots of other guys at the party wanted to "dance" with her but she rejected them to stay with me. Me and Ariana walked into the room where Jay, Max,Siva,Tom,Jennet,Liz,Narreesha, Kelsey, and Nina were. Narreesha was Siva's girlfriend, Kelsey was Tom's, and Nina was Max's. I wanted what they had so badly. It was just me and Jay. But not for long. Haha, sorry Jay. You'll find someone. Just keep rocking those crazy, messed up haircuts.

"Nathan! "Kelsey said and shook me.

"What?"

"He asked you a question."she said.

"It's okay kels, He's just daydreaming about Ariana."Jay said. We all talked and for some reason everyone just left Ariana and I alone in the house. Why do they always leave us her?

I went to Ariana's house and knocked on the door. I was wearing a black sweater with a gray collar, dark jeans, and white converse. Beautiful Ariana opened the door. She had a white shirt with a black collar, a white skirt and sweater, and black heels with see-throigh stockings, and last but not least, a beautiful smile.

"Hey Nath, ready to go?"she asked.

"Y-yeah, come on."I stammered focusing on her beauty.

"Umm... Nathan, are you okay?"

"Uhh, Yeah it's just that you look really beautiful today."

"Thanks Nath! You clean up Well too." I chuckled and led her to the car.

"Nathan, would you please tell me where we are going?"she asked desperately.

"Nope."

"Pweese Nathy, pwitty pweese with some cuppa on top?"

"Ariana, please stop trying to bribe me with tea. It's very tempting."

We both laughed as I drove and stopped at a gate. The sun was going down. Amazing! A sunset would make this even better. I blindfolded Ariana and led her to the gate. I opened it and took her inside. I removed her blindfold and immediately, her eyes brightened. Go Nathan I thought to myself proudly. It was a big beautiful garden covered in dark red rose petals, with a beautiful lake infront of it. She suddenly ran around, spinning as if she was in a wonderland. I walked over to her and smiled. She ran into my arms.

"Ohh Nathan,  Thank you, Thank you

Thank you so much Nathan! Your the best friend ever!"she said running out of breath.

"You're welcome Ariana. Anything for you. Come with me." We took a walk and talked, and just had fun. Then i knew it was time.I led her to a spot on the grass by the lake and we stopped walking . "Ariana,I've been meaning to ask you something. "I said getting nervous.

"Sure Nathan, you can tell me anything."she said looking into my eyes.

"Well, ever since I met you doing our song, you've been an amazing, supportive friend. You comforted me especially when I was depressed over the breakup with Dionne, and You're so, sweet, nice and beautiful. You made me laugh, and from the moment we met, I knew we would be the best of friends, or even more than friends. Ariana Grande-Butera, will be my girlfriend? "I asks kneeling down on one knee.

"OH MY GOSH NATHAN YEEESSS!!!"she said running to me. I've never seen her so happy. She ran to me and jumped on me. We hugged for minutes, then we finally let go of each other. We stood up and took a walk, talking about our lives. I was talking when I noticed Ariana wasn't listening to me. She was looking at the lake. There was a beautiful sunset reflecting off of it. "Nathan, look!"she said pointing to the lake. "It's beautiful. " We stood there, watching the sunset, and the lake.

"Yeah. Just like you."I said staring into my eyes. She stared back. "Nathan?"

"Yes?"

"I love you."she said with a tear of joy rolling down her cheek.

"I love you too." We stared into each other's eyes. Our lips got closer and closer. Then they touched. Her warm lips tasted of cherry. Our lips moved in sync and harmony. Her hands landed on my shoulders and I wrapped my arms around her waist. We kissed for about a rather long minute and pulled away. We sat in the grass. We cuddled a lot and Ariana fell asleep in my arms. I carried her bridal style to my car and drove her home.

I carried Ari into her house and lay her on her bed. Then she woke up and groaned .

"Are you going home?"she asked.

"Yeah, why ?"

"I don't want you to go. Since it was only me and Frankie here, now it's only me because Frankie is on big brother. I get really lonely and scared here."

"It gets a little lonely here, all these empty rooms, just watching the hours tick by, clonk, clonk, clonk, clonk, clonk, clonk."
"Nathan, seriously. Can you please stay?"

"Of course."I said with a smile.

"Yay!!"she exclaimed, and patted a spot on the bed beside her for me to lay down. I she turned off the light, came back into the bed and fell asleep. I thought while she slept in my arms. I am officially the happiest man alive.
