Just the Way You Are

Ariana's POV

I woke up at 9:30 This morning. My hair was all over the place. I quickly managed to tame my crazy hair, got into my robe,and went downstairs to eat breakfast. I made myself some scrambled eggs,oatmeal, and coffee. I sat alone at the table and ate my food. I felt so lonely. Actually I felt alot of things. I had mixed emotions. I was sad that Jai and I broke up, but then I'm happy because I'm singing a duet with Nathan Sykes at noon. But here I am, eating my breakfast by myself, feeling lonely. I was very complicating,even to myself. I finished my breakfast and got ready. I took a shower,brushed my teeth and changed into a white shirt, red and black checkered skirt, and white heels. I put my makeup on, then put my hair into my usual half up-haft down style with a cute red head band. By the time I was ready it was 11:00. I had one hour to get to the studio, and it takes 30 minutes to get there, so I'll leave at 11:15 to get there at 11:45, which makes me 15 minutes early. Well... This is Nathan Sykes we're talking about here. I turned on the TV and spongebob was on. Spongebob is my favorite Nickelodeon show and they were doing my favorite episode "Pizza Delivery". I texted Frankie and told him to pick me up at 11:15. Then went on my computer and logged into my E-mail. I saw that Scooter had sent me a recording of Nathan singing,because I had to approve him to be in the song, because until I sang the duet with someone, it was my  song only. I opened the link and started to listen. My jaw literally fell to the ground. I started screaming and I was going crazy for his voice. Then I was about to sing along,but then u wouldnt be able to hear his beautiful voice and it would just spoil the moment. I was still screaming for Nathan when Frankie stepped in. I did not know he was there.

"Hiya there Frankie!"I said with an awkward smile.

"What the hell?! " he said.

"Frankie you gotta hear this. "I said playing it again for him. He nodded.

"Wow, He's actually a pretty great Singer."he remarked.

"Duh. He's Nathan Sykes."I said.

"Well, you all ready to go?"I said rolling his eyes. I stared at him. "Again,it's Nathan Sykes. What do you not understand? "I said to his face.

He rolled hides eyes again. "Whatever."he said and shrugged. We walked into the car and rode for about 30 minutes. He played boss by fifth harmony and somebody to you  by the vamps  on his radio. I hummed along with him. We got to the studio and I opened the cardoor and walked out.

"Thanks Frankie. Wish me Good luck."I called our after him. He smiled and waved and drove away. I walked in and met Scooter. "Hey Scoot."I said.

"Hey Ariana. Are you still depressed about he whole Jai thing?"

"Yeah." I answered sadly remembering Jai.

"Well thats bad. You're here early."

"Is Nathan here?"I said ignoring his comments.

"Oh yeah He's in that room over there across from the bathroom."he pointed to where the room was. "Thanks Scoot."I said and walked down the hallway to the room. Inside there was a really cute boy. He stood up and walked over to me.

"Hi you must be Ariana."he said. He had a really cute British accent.

"Yeah. Ummm...do you know where I might find a guy named Nathan Sykes?"I asked. He started to laugh. I was confused."What's so funny?"

"I'm Nathan Sykes!"he said. I was so surprised. "But.... your voice on the tape and...... your accent and.... how did you do that with your voice?!" I was so confused. He had such a strong accent but he sounded so different on the tape.

"Do what with my voice?"

"You sounded really different on the tape then now."

He just shrugged. I laughed. "Oh I'm so sorry. I'm Ariana Grande." He smiled.
