The warmth of the sunrays woke me up. I slowly opened my eyes and saw how pretty the sun rise was. The train is still moving but at this point, we are near the sea kaya kitang-kita kung gaano kaganda ang sunrise. I moved my body and I noticed that my back didn't hurt anymore. I grabbed the blanket towards me bago ako bumangon. Napahawak ako sa ulo ko at napapikit muli. Uh, what have we done? I can't believe with that amidst this chaos.
I opened my eyes once again and looked around the room. Napatigil ako nang makita ko si Cairo. He was already wearing his uniform and showing a cold expression like he usually does. He was staring at piece of paper that looked like a letter. I could see the logo of our school from it, and it seemed like an important notice.
Napansin niyang gising na ako at napatingin siya akin. It was sudden so I got startled.
"I prepared a warm bath," he said. "Use that towel beside you," he added at napatigingin ako sa gilid.
"Drink that hot tea before going in," he added again. I took the cup and brought it in kasi hiyang-hiya pa rin ako sa nangyari. I closed the door at napabuntong hininga ako. I took a sip, and it was refreshing. It wasn't a normal flower; it was a healing flower at nakita ko na ito na nakapalibot sa lake.
ARE THESE ... HICKEYS?!
Napanganga ako habang pinagmasdan ito. I touched it with my fingers at medyo may kasakitan rin ito. I stared at my body and noticed another set of hickeys on my legs. Overall, if I'm not mistaken, I have 4 hickeys near my neck, and two hickeys on both of my legs, just near my genital area.
I stared at the water, and I realized that we didn't stop that night after doing 1 deed. We did it thrice, what the hell is wrong with us? On what I remember, we did it on his room. We finished one deed at lumipat kami, dito mismo sa tub. That's where I got this hickey in my leg.
I took my time thinking about my decisions. It took me almost an hour to finish my bath at magbihis. Since my hair is still wet, hindi ko muna tinali. I went outside holding my cup of tea and I was about to call Cairo, but I was surprised to see him giving off a furious expression. He gripped the paper he was holding, and he threw it away. He doesn't seem to notice me, and when he did, he calmed himself.
"What's going on, Cairo?" I asked. He was hesitating to give an answer and faced at me. It seemed like he was contemplating on what answer he'll give.
"Bababa tayo sa susunod na station. The ship is waiting for us there," he added.
"Where are we going then?" I asked.
"Liwet," he answered, and my eyes widened.
"L-Liwet? Is Liwet in danger?" I asked at hindi ulit siya sumagot. "Cairo, is Liwet in danger?" I asked again as I walked towards him. "Answer me, Cairo. What is going on?" I asked again.
I attempted to get the paper he threw away pero hinawakan niya ako kaya napatigil ako. He tightened his grip on my hand kaya dahan-dahan akong tumingin sa kaniya.
