Forbidden Love [Discontinued]

Chapter 17

"Is everybody ready?" Jacobe asked while they some of them were getting in their cars. Each driver raised their thumbs up out their window as an answer. There were 4 cars, excluding the car the 4 teens were in. When they got in, they started their journey back home. The drive would take up to 3 hours like before, but if their lucky, it'll only take 2 1/2 hours without traffic. 

The driver this time was Jason. They were already 30 minutes into the journey when the 3 others got bored, so they decided to play uno. Jacobe got the deck out of his bag and shuffled it before distributing 7 cards to each player. So far, Cheryl only had 2 cards left while Toni and Jacobe both have 3. But now, Cheryl was down to one card.

"Baby, please forgive me" Cheryl said.

"What?" Toni asked confused.

"I'm sorry" she whispered. Then she placed a draw 4 card on the discard pile. She tried making up for it by kissing Toni's cheek which she refused to.

"Get away you traitor" Toni says half-heartedly.

"Awww come on princess" she says pouting.

"Nope" she says, popping the 'p'.

After hours of driving, they finally arrived at Blossom Manor where Eduard lives. They already called ahead and said they'd be home and to invite everyone there for dinner. So it was no surprise that the front of the house was filled with cars. All 5 generations of Blossoms were there, dating back to Eduardo.

When they reached the door, they were immediately lead in by the housemaids Ed had and were lead into a huge family room where the adults were talking. Amelia and the other's were blown away, they never knew that their family was this rich. When they arrived at the family room, the chatter died down as the adults only looked at them, wondering who the people they were with was. But then Ed stood up with an unreadable expression on his face.

"Isabella?" he said shocked. After all theses years, not knowing where his daughter was or if she was even alive.

"Dad!" she smiled and ran over to her father while he had his arms out wide, waiting for Isabella to hug him, a wide smile on his face. After a couple minutes, Amanda and Collin joined them after the initial shock died down. Tears were streaming down all of their faces. It was such a sweet sight, to see the family reunite once more. Isabella then pulled away and wiped her tears before saying, "Where's Rose?"

"Here mom" she heard as she felt a hand on her shoulder. 

"Oh my Lord. You've grown into such a beautiful woman, I barely recognized you" she sobbed, a smile on her face as she held Rose's face in her hand. "I missed you so much baby" she said and pulled her daughter in for a hug. When that was done, she called over Amelia. "Dear, this is your sister". At first it was a little awkward between the two but after a few minutes, they instantly clicked, as though they've known each other their whole lives.

More greeting were tossed around as more people came to greet Isabella, but when they were finished, she beckoned over the Charlotte and the others.

"Dad, this is my wife, Charlotte" she said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you sir" she said as she held out her hand, but was taken aback when Ed only hugged her.

"Thank you for keeping my daughter safe" he said.

Once everyone was introduced, Jacobe, Jason, Cheryl, Toni, Kim, Vincent and Zack headed over to the arcade room Ed had, knowing that they would find all their cousins there. And they were right. Some of the younger kids were running around chasing each other and the others were playing on the games. All 20 of their cousins were there.

Kim, Vincent and Zack instantly connected with the other kids and were running around with them. Cheryl then pulled Toni towards her other cousins to introduce her.

"Hey guys!" she said excitedly to the other 7 girls there. They all enveloped Cheryl in a hug while Toni just stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do. "Ladies, this is my wonderful girlfriend Toni" she said as she laced their fingers and kissed her cheek, "Toni these are some of my cousins.Of course you already know Betty, Polly and Jellybean. These are Chloe, Hannah, Fiona and Katherine." she said while pointing the each one.

Chloe was a redhead with piercing blue eyes, freckles and sunkissed skin. Hannah was a blond with straight hair, chocolate brown eyes and fairly pale skin. Fiona had wavy strawberry blonde hair with light brown eyes and pale skin like Cheryl's. Katherine was a brunette with wavy hair, blue-green eyes and pale skin as well.

They spent the whole evening like that, talking, playing games and them just getting to know Toni. From what they could see, they noticed that she made Cheryl happier, which was deeply welcome, especially because of what happened at Sweetwater River last year. They looked perfect for each other. Then when dinner came, it amazing. The chef made amazing food.

"So Toni, what do you do in your spare time?" Clifford asked.

"I like to play the drums and do photography sir" she answered politely.

"Interesting"  Clifford nodded. "What about your grades?" 

"I have a 4.0 GPA sir" she smiled proudly. Clifford only hummed. It might have not seemed like it but Clifford was impressed.

After dinner was finished, they were all about to go home but Toni walked up to Clifford and Penelope nervously.

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Blossom" she said.

"What is it dear?" Penelope asked.

"uhmm, I just wanted to ask for your permission to date your daughter" she asked nervously, fiddling with her fingers and chewing on her bottom lip.

"Old fashioned I see?" Clifford said. "Listen, if you ever hurt her I swear to whatever God there is, I will rip you apart. You hear me?"

Toni only gulped, "Yes sir. Thank you, you won't regret it" she said with a smile. She then hurried over to Cheryl and gave her a hug, her arms around her neck.

"Hey I wanna ask you something" Toni smiled.

"Yeah?"

"So earlier you said I was your girlfriend" she smiled.

"I- uhmm, only i-if you like want to. I don't wanna pressure you or-"she rambled but was cut of by Toni kissing her.

"Yes. I'd love to be your girlfriend" she smiled.
