Chapter 18

"So, Toni makes you really happy huh" Chloe teased her with a smile on her face.

It's been a week since Isabella and her family finally came home. They were currently staying at one of the many properties that they owned. They were actually planning staying here, the kids we're already transferred into a school and they all had interviews for a job. Life was great. At least, for now.

"Yeah. She's amazing." Cheryl blushed as she looked down at her lap.

"Have you told her about what .....happened?" Katherine asked.

"No, not yet" she replied with a sigh. Tears were starting to well up in her eyes as the memories came back to her. All the girls instantly comforted her as tears streamed down her face.

"You'll have to tell Toni at some point Cher...." Polly trailed of as she looked somewhere behind her. All of them going silent as they looked at something. 

"Tell Toni what?" she heard a voice say behind her, then a pair of arms wrap around her neck.

"Nothing" Cheryl replied rather quickly as she turned around to face her.

"I wanted to surprise you" Toni smiled, Cheryl only smiled gratefully before standing up and wrapping her hands around Toni's neck, then she leaned in for a kiss. But what they didn't know was that the girls were taking pictures.

"ewwww" Cadence, Kim and Alexis said in unison as they made faces at them. Cheryl only pulled away briefly to make faces at them as well and they all laughed at their antics.

"What do you say to joining me and my lovely cousins for the day?" she offered.

"Getting to spend the rest of the day with Ms.Cheryl Bombshell? Yes please" she teased.

After that they all decided to meet the boys at the bowling alley. They all got fitted for shoes and picked their bowling balls, the little kids of course needed a bit of help and they got those metal helper thing-ys. They ended up ordering tons of food since there were like 27 of them there. In the ends, Toni surprisingly won.

"That's what I'm talking about!" Cheryl said with pride, she walked up to Toni and kissed her, "You see this? This amazing human being is my girlfriend" she boasted while the others laughed, smiles on their faces. They've never seen her this happy before, not since the..... incident. It was like the light came back to her.

"Happiness looks good on her" Alexis said.

"It's good to have her back" Elijah agreed.

They were sitting around, joking and telling stories, but it mostly was just embarrassing stories about Cheryl. Cheryl only blushed and tried defending herself but she was up against too many of her cousins. Toni just grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it while smiling at her. After a while everyone split off into their own conversations. Of course while the others were talking, Cheryl and Toni were flirting. That was until Cadence came up to them.

"Thank you so much Toni!" she said excitedly as she hugged her, Toni of course hugged back confused. Cheryl admired the sight before her, she was glad that her family and Toni got along well.

"For what kid?" she asked once she pulled away.

"For making CC happy again." She smiled. Toni frowned at this while Cheryl froze. "She wasn't happy before. She was always grumpy and was sad" she continued, mimicking the emotion as she said it.

"Why was that?" she asked.

"Because there was this-"

"Cadence I think Vincent and the other's want to play with you" Cheryl cut her off, breaking out of her trans. She wasn't ready to tell Toni, not yet at least. Cadence just ran off and played with her other cousins.

"We are so gonna talk about this when we get home" Toni said to her. Cheryl only sighed. All she hoped was that Toni wouldn't judge her or leave her.
