CLINT'S POV

I agreed to take y/n to one of Tony's parties. It was a great way for her to get to know everyone. It was her first time meeting them and I knew I wanted it to be special. 

We arrived and everything was great. She looked absolutely stunning in her y/f/c dress that hugged her curves tightly. I'm so lucky to have her. To be able to love her and for her to love me back. I don't deserve her yet she stays with me anyway.

I grabbed a drink from the bar and scanned the crowd for y/n . I hoped that she was talking to Nat - getting to know everyone would be tiring and she already knew Nat so it would be a break for her.

But I didn't find her with Nat, I saw her talking to Loki (in this Loki is with the Avengers). I'm glad she's getting to know everyone. Even if some of those in that 'everyone' were psychopaths.

Loki seemed to be enjoying the conversation a little too much for my liking. Touching y/n 's arm every so often, looking her up and down and doing that stupid smirk. 

But it wasn't just Loki that was bothering me. Y/n seemed to be doing the same things back. Giggling at his jokes, looking up at him through her eyelashes - all the things she did to me when we first met. 

Am I going mad? Had she lost feelings for me and i just didn't realise? No, she still loved me otherwise she wouldn't have come today.

I turn my cheek, music up
And I'm puffing my chest
I'm getting ready to face you
Can call me obsessed

I look back to the bar and the song changes to another more upbeat song. I down my drink and turn around - Loki was offering y/n to dance. They walked onto the dance floor and started dancing. Innocent enough - just looked like two friends dancing. But I knew better.

I do up my suit coat button and walk over to her and Loki. I snake my arms around her waist and hug her from behind. Something I know she loves. 

She whipped her head around and as soon as she saw me her face lit up. 

"Hi." She said simply, turning to face me, "What's up?"

"I miss you..." I said quietly, not wanting Loki to hear.

She giggled, "Well babe, I'm hanging out with Loki. Want to join us?" She asked gesturing to Loki - he smirked. I hate him. 

I felt the anger rise in me but I managed to smile. 

"No, I'm going to get a drink. Want one?"

"Yeah sure, I'll have a y/f/d"

"Coming right up" I smirk as I walk away, my face dropping as soon as y/n can't see.

It's not your fault that they hover
I mean no disrespect
It's my right to be hellish
I still get jealous

I order our two drinks and walk back over to them with a small smile on my face. My face immediately drops when I see Loki's hand on y/n 's waist. I could tell she was uncomfortable and she put her hand on his to get it off but he wouldn't budge.

I walked the rest of the distance and punched Loki in the face. 

"Fuck off you prick." I say, "She's mine."

Loki scowled and then disappeared in a cloud of green smoke. He won't be back for a few weeks. He always does this when he doesn't get what he wants.

"Babe, you didn't have to do that." Y/n says while taking her drink from me.

"I know, I just..."

She gasped softly "Were you jealous?" she giggled and I pouted jokingly, wrapping my arms around her waist as a slow song came on.

"No. I don't get jealous." She laughed and shook her head, placing her hands around my neck and we swayed to the music.

"Admit it." She whispered in my ear, sending shivers around my body

"No."

"Come on, it was cute."

"Fine. I still get jealous."
