"Fuck." You cursed as you fell over on your way home. You were the sort of person that tripped over nothing, just clumsy. You were thankful that it was dark outside so no-one should've seen you fall.

You quickly went to get up before you felt something on the back of your head. It was cold and hard and you didn't think it was something you were going to like.

"Don't get up." Ordered a person from behind you. You immediately sat back onto the ground and held your arms up.

"What do you want?" You asked.

"Well I know Spiderman hangs around here, he'll come to save you and then I can kill him." The man said proudly.

Your breath hitched at the mention of death and you guessed that the thing on your head was a gun. You had no idea how to react in situations like these. If you were standing, you might've ran or maybe just tried to fight back - but who's to say the man wouldn't shoot you.

Your train of thought was interrupted by the sound of someone being kicked to the floor. You turned your head and saw that Spiderman had swung around a building and kicked the man holding you.

They fought eachother while you were still frozen, sat on the floor just staring at the two of them. You then realised that the man had dropped his gun so slowly, you stood up and picked the gun up off of the floor and pointed it at the man.

"Go. Go or I'll shoot you." You tried to muster up as much strength as you could to make it seem like you would fire the gun. It worked, the man instantly ran in the opposite direction to where you were stood and as soon as he was out of sight you dropped the gun onto the floor.

"H-hey." You jumped at the sound of the voice but relaxed when you realised it was the hero stood next to you.

"Hi." You breathed, still in shock of what happened.

"I'm sorry, I've gotta go. See you around!" He yelled as he swung off into the distance and left you to walk home by yourself. Charming.

*******************TIME SKIP*******************************

You were in your kitchen, pouring yourself a glass of orange juice. You were trying to be as quiet as possible as all of your family was asleep.

That plan went out the door when a loud knock came from your kitchen window. You hesitantly walked over to the window and pulled back the curtain to reveal none other than Spiderman, hunched over.

"H-hey I'm really s-sorry to do this but I-I followed you home, you know to make sure you were safe, and I got into another fight and it's really bad. I don't have anywhere else to go."

So you took him into your garage and fixed him up. You and him spoke a bit and you gave him some blankets.

"You can sleep in here if you want, just be gone by the morning okay?" You asked him quietly, still keeping your sleeping family in mind.

"Y-yeah o-okay, thank you, so much." He stuttered and you found it quite cute.

"Night."

"Yeah, night."

*********ANOTHER TIME SKIP***********************************

You were at the beach with your sister, you had to get her out of the house. She kept wanting to go into the garage to get something but you didn't know if Spiderman was still in there, so you thought it was better to just go to the beach with her for a distraction.

She had left you alone as soon as you had got there though, running down to sunbathe on her towel. You spotted someone sat on a chair with one empty next to them, so you asked to sit.

"Oh, uh y-yeah yo-you can sit there." The boy stuttered. You thought there was something familiarly cute about the nervousness in his voice but you thought it was nothing until:

"H-hey." He looked over to you and immediately you knew.

"Hi." You mirrored exactly what you had said to him the first time you met. When he saved you.

"You uh... come here often?"

"No. Not much."

"Do...you usually sit in these chairs?"

What kind of conversation is that? This boy needs some serious help with his social skills.

"Only when Spiderman is sat in the other one." You smiled and he looked up at you in surprise.

"You recognise me?" He asked, scared that you would tell everyone about his identity.

"I won't tell, don't worry. Hey do you wanna leave this place? See some stuff. Together?" You asked. You didn't expect him to accept but he did.

*********ANOTHER!! TIME SKIP**********************

You and Spiderman, or Peter as you call him now, were on your fifth stop of the day and you decided to snap another photo on your disposable camera.

This was the best day you had ever had in your life and Peter felt the same way. You both had just immediately clicked with each other and you could tell you were going to be good friends.

A little part of you was disappointed that you thought you could only be friends but you ignored it. You weren't looking for a relationship with a superhero that could die in a fight at any time.

You were strolling hand in hand along the coast, swinging your arms around and laughing together.

"You're a terrible driver," You concluded, having heard Peter's story about one of his driving lessons with Tony Stark, "Which is strange for someone who's instructor has 6 cars."

"I'm wounded." Peter laughed and you joined him.

You both came to a natural stop and held eachothers hands.

"I think you're amazing." Peter said, suddenly serious.

"I think you're amazing too." You nodded, smiling.

"But... nothing can happen between us. We have to say goodbye and not speak anymore." Peter sighed, looking down.

"W-what?" You questioned, confused.

"I-I'm Spiderman, and your just an ordinary girl."

"Wha-"

"You don't understand. I have enemies and they'll come for you if we get close and they'll ruin everything." Peter tried to explain.

"They don't have to. You already did." Turning around and walking away.

"Wait, y/n!" Peter yelled after you.

You stopped but didn't turn around. He ran up to you and put his hand on your shoulder to turn you around.

"What." You asked, hurt.

"The camera...." He started.

"You want the camera?" You asked.

"Just in case. I wouldn't want the pictures to get out."

"You want my pictures?" You threw the disposable camera at his feet, "Fine. There's nothing I'd want to remember anyways." You walked away quickly, ignoring Peter yelling your name.
