"Now Sarah, quickly bend that piece of metal then bend it back to place." Chris said while pointing to a pipe. Sarah went to the pipe and tried to bend it but couldn't. "Huh, look at that. I was wrong about the power trait." Chris said with a goofy smile. "Can I try?" A short, pale girl spoke up. "Sure go ahead Pearl." Chris said. Pearl succeeded in bending the pipe. "Okay unbend it, it might be an important pipe." Chris said with a smile on his face. Pearl unbended the pipe, "Why did you need someone to bend the pipe.... then unbend it?" Sarah asked. "I need a bodyguard for in case the Earthians are hostile and that would be someone with the power trait." Chris said in the most nonchalant way.
"Now the matter of when to go out to face them. Do we do it in the dark or in the light?" Chris mumbled to himself. "The best time would be now during the light, people are coming out of those boxes right now." A teen next to Chris said. "Yo Chris I'm hungry" Xavier shouted from the back.
Chris switched on the spaceship at minimum power to heat up the food that were meant for long travels that leaders made. It was a good thing that leaders packed food that could last for at most 3 years because all that food would come in handy for all the teens in the spaceship. "Okay I'm going to see if I can communicate with the Earthians. Pearl, do you want come with me?" Chris looked Pearl directly in the eyes as soon as he finished eating. "No, I'm still eating." Pearl said before taking another bite of her food.
While everyone else was eating, Chris took a rebreather and left the spaceship carefully not to let too much oxygen inside the spaceship. Chris looked around and saw a figure far away. He ran as fast as he could towards the figure. "You!! Earthian!! Over there!! Wait!! I wanna communicate!!" Chris shouted as he was getting closer.
"What is it kid?" The man turned around. Just as Chris was about to speak the man interrupted, "What in the world are you wearing a mask for and why are you wearing a fake tail? Where are your parents kid?" Chris was shocked that this man. "Sir I was about to explain my situation when you started talking!"
"Now kid I don't know you, but didn't they teach you some damn manners where you come from?" The man became angry at Chris's behaviour. "I'm sorry sir, I just need your help to get back home. May I please have a moment of your time." Chris begged the man. "Follow me and take off the that damn mask." The man started walking towards a tap. "I'm sorry I cannot do that sir, this mask allows me to breathe. See I'm from another planet, I didn't come alone. I'm not here to take over the planet or anything, I just need some supplies for the journey back home."
The man who was drinking water coughed some out at the news he was hearing. "What's your name?" The man asked curiously. "Chris, Chris is my name." Chris thought the man was taking him seriously, until the man ripped the mask from his face. "Stop playing with me Chris." The man said those words as sternly as he could and turned away from Chris. Chris started gasping and his veins started bulging and turning black. "What exactly is this you're breathing kid?" The man asked as he took a quick sniff which knocked him out which made him drop the mask as he fell. Chris grabbed the mask and quickly put it back on. He ran back to the spaceship as quickly as he could.
