When Chris reached the spaceship he laid down next to it to catch his breath. All his veins were black at this point, but the more he caught his breath, the more his veins went back to normal. Once he caught his breath however he realized that the veins on the tips of all his fingers had not turned back to normal.

He was startled when Pearl came out of the spaceship and quickly sat on his hands. "You ready to go to the Earthians?" Pearl looked excited until she looked at Chris. "Why are you sitting on your hands?" Chris reluctantly showed Pearl his hands to which Pearl gasped. "Is this what happens when we breath in oxygen?" Chris just nodded with tears in his eyes.

"My eyes were almost affected. If I had breathed more oxygen than I did then my eyes would have blacked out." Chris spoke after a while. "What do you mean blacked out and how did you breath in oxygen anyways?" Pearl was sitting next to Chris, but sat in front of him when she asked this question.

"When I stepped out of the spaceship I saw a figure from a distance. I ran to that figure and it was an Earthian. I tried to explain our situation, but the Earthian did not take my words of plea seriously and ripped my mask from my face. The thing that saved me was that the Earthian breathed in our air and it knocked him out. He dropped the mask and I grabbed it, put it on and ran here." Pearl was so shocked when she heard this.

"So these Earthians, they're hostile?" Pearl asked. "No, not all of them because from the stories my mom told me previous leaders came to Earth and met kind Earthians." Chris answered. "So now what?"

"Let's try that direction." Chris stood up and pointed in the opposite direction to which he saw the figure. They started walking and after a while they started seeing some Earthians. They approached a group of them having a picnic. "So they do similar things to us... Interesting." Pearl said to Chris quietly.

"Greetings Earthians, we would like your help. Before you ask let me explain. We are not from here, we are Volcanians from the planet Volcanus. We are stranded here because we don't have enough fuel to make the trip back home. We are wearing rebreathers because your Earth's air which is oxygen is toxic to us. My name is Chris and this is Pearl, can you help us." Chris explained to the Earthians.

"Hi Chris and Pearl. I am Kevin these are my buddies Jeff, Stan and Roger. Are you guys really aliens and if you are, what is space like?" Kevin could not help, but ask. "Hold up bro, did he call us Earthians?" Jeff started laughing which left Chris and Pearl with questioning looks. "Are you not Earthians? Did we mistake the planet we landed on?" Pearl asked confused

"Yeah this is Earth, but we are not called Earthians you aliens." Roger told Pearl. "So what should we call you, collectively I mean?" Chris sat down while asking. "We are humans." Roger said in 'duh' tone. "Noted. Now about the supplies we need, are you humans willing to help us." Chris asked them.
