Future A/N: Please appreciate this because half way through writing it i was attacked by a huge spider crawling right near my face and I screamed and now I don't think I'll be able to sleep. Like where did it come from? It wasn't in the corner of the room and it came from the ceiling so there must be hole somewhere. 😖

The time passed by very slowly as Betty was sat on the bed in the guest room still wrapped in a towel. The girls had finally come to the end of their conversation and Betty switched her phone off and had made her way into the small walk in wardrobe, that was in the corner of the pale room. Betty had tugged at every draw in hope for at least clean underwear but all she found was baggy sweatpants and an oversized drained t-shirt. She obviously didn't have a spare pair of panties so she rinsed them under the tap with soap before drying them with the black hairdryer she had found inside a cabinet near the window that looked over the city.

Betty careful put on her underwear making sure not to break even the smallest thread, and the pulled the the sweat pants over her legs using the string to wrap it tight around her waist, she didn't bother with a bra and wore the shirt tying it at the bottom creating a crop top. Betty wrapped her hair up into a bun using the hair tie from her purse.

The clock soon struck one and Betty was starving, she hadn't eaten since yesterday and was beginning to hear her stomach growl in anger. She left the room for the first time since she had entered it and began knocking on the master bedrooms door. Jughead swung the door open and walk straight past her into the kitchen, he grabbed a box of lucky charms out of the cupboard and began eating it out of the box. "Nice clothes." He smirked looking at the way Betty had added her own touches to his oversized old clothes. "I have no idea what I'm going to wear for the next month, so if you have a hidden away woman's wardrobe somewhere, I'd appreciate if you'd show me." Betty sighed grabbing the box of him and shoving a handful of the marshmallow cereal into her mouth. Jughead turnt around and placed two bowls on the table, so Betty poured the rest of the cereal into the bowls whilst jughead grabbed the milk. "I actually do have some girl clothes that my sister left here a few months back, I'll put them in the guest room for you later." He replied as Betty pushed herself of the counter and took a seat at one of the stools, Jughead slid the bowl over to her and chucked her spoon which she instantly put in the bowl scooping a big pile of cereal. 'Thank you." She mumbled mouthful of food.
It went silent after that, except for the occasional crunch of the cereal being crushed in their mouths. Betty spent most of the time staring out of the body length windows across the room, they looked over the unusually quiet town that would daily be filled with creative people, business workers and tourists. The sky was a peaceful blue, the clouds slowly passed forming different shapes once in awhile. The world seems so peaceful, even though it was going through an extreme crisis.
Jughead on the other hand had is eyes down at his phone scrolling through Instagram between his texts with his younger sister, Jellybean. They text everyday, always checking in with each other, making sure there was no trouble back at his small home town. After Jellybean had sent a long paragraph rambling on about a show she's been binge watching for the past couple of days, Jughead stood up from his chair causing it to cut the silence with a dreadful scraping sound and placed his bowl into the sink before walking into his bedroom and closing the door.

Betty's phone rang of from the other room not long after she was left alone in the kitchen. She jumped up from her seat and walked into her new room, grabbing the phone of her bed and bringing it to her ear. "Hey Mum." She smiled into the phone rolling onto her back so she was now staring at the plain ceiling above her. "Hi Elizabeth, I was calling to see how your doing during these shocking circumstances that no one was expecting." Betty's mother, Alice, said. "I'm okay I guess, except for the fact that I'm locked in quarantine with this asshole of a celebrity." Betty sighed rubbing her eyes with her free hand before placing it on her stomach. "Why are you in a strangers house?!" Alice said with an angry tone knowing exactly that Betty had spent the night, "Mum, you know I don't have a boyfriend, what do you expect me to do? Wait for the perfect boy to come and sweep me of my feet. It's not going to happen." Betty rolled her eyes sitting up from the mattress of the bed and crossing her legs. Alice scoffed from the other side of the phone disgusted at her daughters unsafe behaviour. She never accepted the thought of her youngest child having sex with strangers she would of only met a few hours before; in fact Alice never accept the fact that Betty wasn't her little girl anymore. "I don't care Elizabeth, Archie Andrews has been wanting to be with you since you were kids and you would of been perfect together, but you had to go mess it up. I want you out of whoever that scummy womanizer's house as soon as possible." Alice said causing Betty to roll her eyes so much they could of got stuck in the back of her head. "Firstly, Archie was not my type. Secondly, at least he's not making me sleep in a hallway, he was just as shocked and annoyed at the fact that I had to stay here then you are but at least he's letting me stay in his spare room. I'll speak to you soon mother, bye." Betty quietly growled and then quickly hung up not letting her mother say another word back in response.
