"Wh-..What do you want?! Why are you here?!" I stepped back when he stepped forward. The man took a moment to think his gaze drifting to something else while he thought.
"Well." He started raising the tension in the air,
"If you must know, I was only going to come see my old friends." The brunette stated in a matter of fact like way.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"####, what's going on?! I thought...I thought we were friends!" Edd shouted up at him. The pain of betrayal in the man's eyes was indescribable.
"Pfff! What would I need friends for when I've got this?!" The red hoodied Norwegian outstretched his arms. Even that statement broke me a little.

I was torn from my "sleeping" state when my side crashed into a hard metal wall. The vehicle screeched to a halt rather suddenly, causing everyone inside to be jostled around. I kept my eyes half closed, to appear as though i was still unconscious. Murmurs filled the air before the doors to the back swung open. The soldiers ran out in an orderly yet panicked fashion, leaving me on my own. I let my eyes flutter wide open upon hearing the series of gunshots ricocheting off the sides of the vehicle. I twisted and wiggled over to the open double doors. A soldier stumbled back and collapsed after getting shot, a pool of blood forming where the back of their skull lay on the asphalt. Now was my shot to get away...hopefully without getting myself killed in the process. My hands were still cuffed behind my back, so running wouldn't be as easy as i'd want it to be. I slipped from the edge of the truck, landing with a quiet crunch on the road. Once i knew no one was looking my way, i bolted, my legs pumping with as much strength as they could muster to carry me back to safety. As i ran, i took a moment to glance behind me. We had halted just on the outskirts of the city. There was an entire convoy of black and red painted armored vehicles that had intercepted the path of the measly little van. I placed my eyes back ahead of me when a handful of soldiers from the over-sized convoy looked my direction. A few shouts, directed at me, wavered through the air. I couldn't hear what they were saying but i wasn't stopping for anyone or anything. Their voices and gunshots became distant as i picked up speed for the fear of my own life being taken by the loyal bullet. It being destined to what its owner had thought of it as. A simple component of lead and metal from an iron machine. Yet, the deadliest part of the whole system.
In the nick of time, i reached the first alleyway. I ducked into the darkness, weaving through the damp air. My feet splashed through the puddles scattered unpredictably on the pavement. I came to a slow stop, glancing about this way and that to confirm my safety. Now i just had to recover the way home and i'd be golden.=========================================
Tord's POVI forced my way to the crowd of my soldiers, huddled around the van in question. I hollered to pull everyone's attention to myself,
"Where is she?!" My eyes scanned each and everyone red and blue soldier, looking between each other. I grew annoyed, frustration over taking my thought process as a hiss escaped my clenched teeth. A man came forward, dismay and fear lacing his every word,
"She got away sir." Then motions in the vague direction the girl i've been searching years for ran off to. "An she probably didn't get far."
i nodded in response, a scowl glued firm to my face. I pulled off my navy blue over coat and handed it to Patryk, who was as tall as a coat hanger anyway, and stepped past everyone towards the city.
"I'm going to search for her, on my own." I declared as everyone watched me silently. I raised an eyebrow as i waited for a response but none came. With a sigh i turned back on my heel and trekked into the city. Only one thought was rolling around my head making a ruckus in my mind,
'why are you running, min kjærlighet?'
