There was a tense silence between us as Tord was deep in thought. At last the quiet was shattered by his voice alone,

"There's got to be a way to bring it back, right?"

"Yeah...The doctors says that showing me things that happened back then should ease my lost memory from where ever it's hidden itself." I sighed roughly,

"So far it's worked with Edd and the other two, and taking a few visits back to the old house helped. Yet i still don't fully understand.." I finally averted my gaze and adopted a slightly sorrowful look. The Norski nodded thoughtfully with everything i said but then appear startled upon the mention of Edd.

"Edd..? Tom and Matt, too?" He appeared a bit confused, maybe even stunned. I nodded slowly,
"You knew them right?"
The Norwegian nodded with a sigh,
"They were old friends.." but then his mood shifted into excitement as he perked up,
"I have an idea!"

I tilted my head in confusion,
"And what's that?"
Tord rose from his seat and motioned for me to follow. With a sly, devious smile he spoke,
"You'll see~"
We decided to walk again, rather than taking a bus to wherever this mad man was leading. During our little walk, he's took my hand into his. I flinched away and stared at him like he had three heads. Tord looked to me, a moment of sadness swelling in his gaze which soon turned to embarrassment.
"Right. I forgot." He rubbed the back of his neck, a little reddened in the face. There must have been something between us before my amnesia. I had to admit, the idea of it made t heart skip a few beats. For the rest of the walk I couldn't help but keep stealing glances of his handsome face.

Around 15 minutes later we wound up at an overgrown parking lot with trash fluttering across the cracked asphalt. At the end of it was a large warehouse like structure with a lobby like area in the front and a vandalized sign reading, "Lock n Load Lazer Tag." My eyes grew wide as the scene momentarily flickered before my eyes, revealing a building well taken care off and a few stray cars parked about a picture perfect lot. My mouth was slightly gaping as I breathed heavily with the memories and emotions flooding back. It was so much to take in my head began to spin. I could feel my legs suddenly loose their strength causing me to stagger back. Tord meanwhile has been observing my reaction and quickly caught me in his arms before I crashed to the sidewalk.

"Careful there, are you alright??" Worry laced his voice as my vision focused in and out but at last managed to tune in on his face hovering over mine,

"Wha-what happened here?" I managed to mutter out as he pulled me into a standing position rather than slouching in his arms.

"A year ago this place fell into disrepair because not many people were interested." Tord explained, following after me as I tracked closer to the building.

"That's a pity.." the windows and walls were covered in vandalism, along the roof grew vines the crawled down the walls. Bushes were growing out of control due to not being primed for such a long period of time. It was fascinating yet scary how quickly something can fall into disrepair. I cupped my hands around my face as I tried to peer into the dimly lit lobby.
"Do you think there's a way i-"

"Are you coming?" Tord stood, grinning and leaning against the open front door.
"How did you-" I slowly walked to the now open door,
"Magic~" He purred and let me inside first. I remembered a little bit more now, so I turned to the brunette with a soft yet devious smile.

"Still feel sore over losing to a girl?"

His neutral expression became displaced with that of shock.
"Tha-..That's the one Turing I hoped you wouldn't remember." Tord laughed nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck in an embarrassed manner.
"Well victories are never forgotten," I grinned cheekily as I grabbed a dusty laser gun off a rack and playfully aimed it at him. In a teasing way I pulled the triggered to which the norski acted along. He grabbed at his chest and gasped, before dramatically flopping to the dirt ridden floor.
"Oh no- she shot me straight through my heart!"
I broke out into a fit of giggles, having to prop myself against a wall to keep from toppling back. Simply the thought of him made my heart jump, as I began to remember the time we'd spent together before my amnesia. Yet, I still didn't know who he was in detail. Our laughter subsided as I fell into a state of contemplation. My finger tip traced across the dusty gun, revealing its mat black, scuffed surface. One by one I pieced my memories together to form a ragged quilt in my mind. The were still gaping voids where no remembrance was roused yet, but those would be filled in due time if I kept at this pace. In each moment, I recalled every trait I adored about this man, Tord. However in my thoughts I stumbled upon the ever confusing scene. The smoldering ruins of a house and an explosion tearing through the sky. I yearned to know where those pieces of the puzzle lurked within my mind. I wanted to know what happened that fateful day. All I knew is it must have been something tragic.
I broke from my train of thought, gaze falling upon the Norwegian who'd risen from the floor. Our sights were locked on one another as we stayed in an unbroken silence, a mere few foot away from the other. I peered up at him, since he was undeniably taller, while I tried to decipher what was drawing me so close to this man. Tord edged closer, enough so that he could hold my hands in his. My face grew unbearably hot at his touch, finally breaking away from what seemed like a staring contest.

"I-I should get going back to my apartment." I stammered, mentally scolding myself for messing up my words. He nodded quietly and suggested,
"Yeah. I'll walk you home?"
A soft smile graced my lips,
"Sure."

So he walked me back to my apartment, this time I willingly let him hold my hand. I brought a feeling of warmth when I gripped his rough hand. Then a feeling of slight sadness swelled within my chest as we said our goodbyes at my doorstep, before we parted. That night, my mind kept returning back to him like a record on repeat. And every time he came into mind, I couldn't help but smile like a dumbass.
