Brothers in Arifureta

Chapter one

*Bryce POV*

I opened my eyes. I start to breath heavily. 'Oh god where is Vince!' I thought. I sat up and looked around, I saw a lake of water with several large waterfalls flowing into it. That is how we survive the fall. But Vince! I look around, trying to find a sign of him. Soon I saw some blood on the ground. 'Oh No!' I thought.

"VINCE! VINCE! VINCE! WHERE ARE YOU!" I shouted, trying to locate him. 'Please don't tell me. That I lose him too. Damnit, damnit, damnit. I won't lose you, not ever again will I be separated with you Vince.' I thought.

I tried to move around, but I felt a sharp pain on my right leg. I hit the ground hard, I think my nose is bleeding now. I roll over and look at my leg. A large piece of rock stab through it. I start to feel the pain, like a truck parked itself on my leg and won't move.

"AAAAAHHHHH! Fuck! Damn! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Shit! Damn it! OH MY LORD!"

I wince in pain, damn this hurts. I start to breath heavily and hold in my cries. I don't want monsters to attack me right now. I look around to try to find my Vince, I don't see him. 'NO! Think Bryce. Think. Where would Vince be?' I thought. I pushed myself up. I don't care about the pain even if it was the most horrible thing I ever experienced. The only thing I needed was Vince, everything else didn't matter. I started slowly limping following the blood trail. What I came upon broke my heart. Vince was laid up against the stone wall with some blood dripping from his head.

*Pant, pant, pant* I pull myself up to Vince. I started taking in deep breathes to sooth me. I then shook him a bit, getting his attention to me. I worried a bit if he loss to much blood and couldn't think properly. But he smiled towards me as if a flood gate been opened with happiness overflowing within. "What took you so long?" he said to me. I smiled back at him as we sat there before laughing.

Our laughter quiet down after a little while. "Sorry, I got loss. Had to ask the local ghost if they seen a clumsy man walking bye. Wouldn't want you slipping and falling. Otherwise we would have to call the hotline again." I said while smirking at him.

"That was one time. Plus she was hot." he said. "Always falling for the girls. Too bad they turned out to be a cosplayer." I said. Vince just chuckled at me before looking into my eyes. "I was so close too. But it seems that it was not time yet. We'll find love one day." he said. I could feel myself getting very cold as my blood and Vinces blood mixed into the dirt getting ourselves muddy. I leaned on his shoulder taking a deep breath in. I was scared shitless to be honest, but I knew I had to keep calm in order to make sure I and Vince would get out alive.

"So what's our plan this time?" I asked him. "Since we are so far down, the only way to get out of here is to keep going down. There has to be a way out down there." Vince replied as he wrapped an arm around me. We sat there recollecting ourselves and to prepare for what comes next.

A large bunny jump out of nowhere, it stood on its hind legs and sniffed the air, like a predator trying to locate his prey. Soon we hear two howls, then in a blur two big white wolves with two tails came out of nowhere. One started to shoot red lightning towards the bunny, but he jumped in the air at the last second. The other wolf jump at him, but the bunny used a skill to slash out three large green slashes towards the wolf, killing him in the process. Then the one the ground looked towards the last wolf and kicked him, taking off his head. The bunny look our way, it must have used a skill because from 20 feet he was only 2 in a blink of an eye. Both of us hugged each tighter. It lifted one leg up to kill us, but Vince quickly pushed us out of the way, a good thing too. The bunny swiftly brought his leg down which sended out one of those cuts, hitting the rocks and took my brother's arm clean off, even cutting the bone. Before the bunny could do it again, a large beast's hand with three massive claws stab the bunny. He was lifted up to see a large bear like creature that has cover in white fur, with neon red highlighter and a black underbelly. He started to devour the bunny as we both start to coward in fear. As all of this was happening we both was on the ground, I was trending to my brother's wound as he took some of his clothes in his mouth, and a belt near the wound. He started to yell in pain, but was muffled with the clothes.
