Holding you (part 1)

Chapter 2: Badass!

        Ryan found Liza at their backyard with a pair of scissors at hand. As he watched her from the inside of the house he couldn't ignore the feeling of being drawn to her. He know he just got a break-up recently but he can't ignore the strange feeling he's having whenever he looked at Liza, and it frustrate him to no end. 'She haven't been here for 24 hours but mom and Claire treats her like they know her with their life. Why is that?' He thought to himself. His brows drew together with the thought.

''Because she's a manipulating bitch like everyone else,'' Ryan whispered to himself.

        Liza inched closer at what Ryan saw, the sprinklers and Liza was siting just in front of it. Then he thought something fun to do and went to open the sprinklers. The water hit directly at Liza's face which made her gasp in surprise. Ryan laugh as she tried to block the incomming strike of the water at her face. Then she stood up running out of the garden.

        Ryan laugh sterickally at the soaking Liza who stared at him blankly. What stop him from laughing is when she saw a glint of sadness that cross her face but as fast as that emotion came into view, she easily put a blank facade for him to see.

''You look awful, you know.'' Ryan said trying to sound indignant but he felt not right at what he's doin'.

        Liza made eye contact to him like what seems forever. Like she want to give the message through their eyes. He suddenly felt selfconcious from her watchful gaze.

'But I won't lose.' He thought. 'I can deal with this, I think.'

        Liza was the one to let go from their intense gaze to each other. She didn't know why he's being mean to her nor she know about the issues he's dealing with right now. She let it slide for now and headed inside the house without uttering a word to him.
