***ten months later***
Dakotas foal was just born, Firefly's foal was early, at least by a couple months, his foal was a male, a dapple brown color, white speckles all over his little coat, and me and Dakota's foal was a female palomino paint, I frequently played with my foal which me and Dakota Decided to call blossom as of Firefly called his foal dreamcatcher I found that a little odd for a male, but it was firefly's foal. so it didn't matter, in the past week all we did was travel, and then, Timber came... I didn't want the memory's left in blossoms head like i had when i was her age, The horrid memory's still danced in my head like it was yesterday, I whinnied at Dakota to bring the foals to safety.
this time Timber was alone... he snarled, his pelt bristling, I did not rear, i did not cry, i fought. I turned around and galloped. he ran after me I stopped as he ran full force, and i bucked. i bucked and bucked and I bucked. the wolf attempted to jump on my rump, as i bucked he flew back. but Hey.
Takes Two To Tango
I galloped back to the small herd i had, The foals had got the message to run, we ran out to a wooded area, that went into a narrow wooded passage. this is the one i went to when i was a foal. I cantered my way to the river, the river was now larger than before, mor salmon had run through, It was a sunny summer, the sun glared on the river. giving it a shimmering effect. Blossom and dreamcatcher had played tag, i let Dakota take care of the foals as i went to wonder around the feild trying to bring back the happy memorys from the spots i went to. I was baffled as i found a foal laying in the grass! a newborn too! i sniffed the foal uneasily. I nudged Him to his feet, his description of his coat looked like a fresian mix. He got up slowly, he was very skinny. For sure his mom would not abandon a foal like this!
