Author's POV:

"Connor the right, the right!!"

Connor makes a dash towards the android that's running towards a building exit.

"I got him Hank!"

Connor tackles the android down to the ground, putting his knee into it's back then placing handcuffs on it's wrist. Hank comes running over after making the call that they got them. Once taking the android back to the station for interrogation, they both relax.

"Damn that one was a tough case..now let's get ready for the interrogation, i'm sure your out of breath son"

Connor was indeed out of breath, ever since androids got accepted into the human society, having their own laws. New installments or software came out for them to feel more human and to experience things they never got too before.

The androids felt really happy having these things, and are excited for more to come out so they can feel closer to humans.

Hank passed Connor a water bottle, he thanks him opening it then taking a sip. One thing Connor is grateful for is being able to cool himself down..instead of sweating. Once he cooled himself off he looked over at Hank.

"Geez, Con the least you could do is be overheated with me..anyway let's head towards the interrogation room"

Conner chuckles, then follows Hank towards the room where the android they caught is at. Once getting there someone was already trying to get information out of it, but it simply wouldn't talk. The person leaves the room irritated, which gave Connor a chance to interrogate it himself.

Volunteering to try, the person in charge lets him. Once Connor got into the room the android in the room smirked.

"Go ahead try asking me a question i ain't gonna answer!"

Connor ignores what it said but was more intrigued by the way it talked. Getting that out of his mind he proceeds with his questions.

"The case is about you killing a human and another android"

Connor tosses the pictures on the table showing the damage they did to them.

"Soooo, they deserved it what else am i supposed to say about it"

"They both have multiple stab wounds as well as a leg missing on both the bodies, why did you do it?"

The android leans back into the chair, getting comfortable.

"You clearly have a motive and I want answers!"

Connor says taking the aggressive approach.

"My name is Cole to save you some brain time, anyway it's what the boss wanted can't say any more than that"

'What the boss wanted?'

"Who's the boss, why did you need to kill those people, rather why did your boss order or ask you to take care of it?"

Cole sighs, rubbing his head.

"Dude didn't ya listen to what I just told you? You're an android so pay attention to what I say dammit! I can't say any more than that, and I'm not going too!"

Connor was at least a bit satisfied getting a small lead on the case. About to leave the room, Cole gave out a loud chuckle almost sounding insane. How could he not have noticed his stress levels?!

Connor rushes back over trying to calm him down, this was their only lead and they could get more information out of him! Some others rushed into the room noticing that something was about to happen.

"No get out he's going to self destruct!!"

Connor runs over towards them trying to push them out of the room quickly enough so they wouldn't get injured. Once that happened, knowing everyone is okay Connor apologized to everyone.

"If I paid attention to his stress levels I would have been able to avoid something like this!"

Hank rubbed his back.

"Son it's not your fault he was acting so confident and comfortable so don't worry about it son..at least we have a little hint! So cheer up you did great today Connor!"

Connor nods not really wanting to say anything at the moment feeling like a failure. Once telling some people at the station good night, Hank along with Connor leave heading home to their new place they got a while ago.

Getting out of the car, heading inside Connor quickly goes to the fridge forgetting that they didn't have any groceries in the first place. Groaning Connor yells out saying he'll be back soon.
Leaving the house Connor decides to walk to the store, since it was a beautiful night and the weather is nice.

Once arriving at the store Connor grabs a cart then goes around the store getting the things they need. As the cart is filled with various items he starts to make his way over to the checkout line. Putting things on the conveyor belt, he noticed he was missing something so he politely asked the person behind him to watch his stuff so he could quickly go get something.

Once returning with the thing he forgot he thanked the lady behind him then put the item with the other things. After he got all four of the bags he started to walk home.

"..today was a hard day i'm really tired"

Looking up at the sky Connor smiles to himself, not paying attention to where he was going he accidentally bumps into someone making them fall. Connor tenses up knowing that, that must have hurt. He quickly puts the bags down on the concrete then crouches down to the person he bumped into.

"I'm so sorry, are you okay?!"

The person on the floor groans, then sits up.

"N-no it's okay, you don't need to apologize it's my fault"

'It's a women..ahh I messed up'

"Still i'm sorry, here let me help you up"

Connor gets up offering a hand, the woman accepts it getting back up then dusting herself off.

"It's really okay..Thank you for helping me up uhm.."

"Connor..My name is Connor"

It was so dark outside that Connor couldn't see any of the girls' features. The one day the street lights don't work..

"My name is (Y/N)"

"Nice to meet you (Y/N)..what are you doing out here all by yourself?"

It may be dark but Connor could sense that she was not hesitant in answering that question.

"Oh uhm..I'm supposed to meet someone here soon so i'll be okay! Ah, there here bye sorry for bumping into you suddenly!"

Connor wanted to ask her one more question but she quickly ran off..

'Maybe we'll see each other again'
